It is no about Toledo, it is about the old Jewish Toledo. It shows very little about Toledo. Not recomendable for a first visit.

Please allow us to clarify that during this 2-hour evening walk, a wide variety of sites are covered, including the ancient city walls and gates, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the Jewish Quarter and its synagogues, the Church of the Jesuits, Zocodover Square, the surroundings of the Alcázar, and finally the Town Hall Square, where the Archbishop’s Palace and the Cathedral can be appreciated. Toledo is internationally recognized as a crossroads of cultures and is often referred to as the “City of the Three Cultures” because of its profound Christian, Jewish, and Muslim heritage. The Jewish legacy is especially significant: at one time the city was home to ten synagogues and the largest Jewish Quarter in the kingdom. For this reason, it is impossible to speak about Toledo’s history without acknowledging this essential part of its identity. We did the guided night tour of Toledo and it was very instructive. In addition to being almost "magical" since our guide, Luis, took us to places that cannot be visited without special permission. Luis also made the entire tour very enjoyable and interesting.

We had a great time, if you like history, legends and witches as well as extraordinary views, the incredible Christmas lighting, you don't have to see Toledo on foot by car or even think about it. We hired a tour with a night guide "legends and myths" of the orange umbrella. It was very entertaining, I recommend it. We missed a lot to see
Fernando was an engaging and warm guide, showing us the backstreets of a fascinating city. Since the well known landmarks are not open in the evening, we learned about life in Toledo over the ages and enjoyed stunning views of the well-lit cathedral (much better than during the day).

We had to cancel the tour at the last minute (45 minutes before tour start) due to a minor accident/fall. The rating is based on the communication prior to the tour and after notifying Enrique of the cancellation. Enrique communicated with us very effectively prior to the tour and was also very responsive to the fact that we were concerned about walking in the heat and offered to customize the tour to accommodate us. We were sorry to have missed this experience, however based on the customer service, would have no doubt that we would have thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Enrique. As per the TripAdvisor policy, which we completely understand, we did not receive a refund.

We had an amazing tour with Fernando. It was the highlight of our Spain trip so far. Fernando was engaging, knowledgeable and full of stories about Toledo. Very good disposition, friendly, cuts, with extensive knowledge about the places visited, linking perfectly some visits with others. It made for a cold night, a welcoming place shrouded by centuries of history.
