The most engaging, fun and informative tour we have ever been on. Simona our guide was so warm, engaging and knowledgeable. A historian her depth of knowledge was incredible. It was so professionally run with the parents v kids scavenger hunt game making it fun for the kids. We had this tour booked and sadly the colosseum was closed for the day due to a tragic death of a worker so we switched the tour to outside the colosseum - Simona did such a good job that we didn’t feel we missed out. Our kids are history buffs and love the colosseum and Simona was so patient answering all their questions. Best thing we did in Rome. Thank you!

Highly recommended for families

Best investment, will use again
100% would use them again. We booked a very last minute trip to Italy and Mariaclaudia was absolutely a lifesaver. We traveled with 4 children between the ages of 8 years old and 15 years old. Each child was engaged, interested, and excited about what they learned. She was phenomenal.

Colosseum with kids - the way to do it!
We had an awesome tour with Alessandra! She was so passionate and knowledgeable and amazing with the kids. Two other families were in our tour and she engaged us all very well - kids and the adults. So glad we chose Mariaclaudia Tours to see the Colosseum with our 8 year old! He would’ve been so bored with other longer tours that’s for sure.

Fantastic experience!
Mariaclaudia was absolutely wonderful - we booked 3 tours during our stay and all of them were so well done! Our group was 3 families with 7 kids aged 10-13years and the tour guides kept them all so engaged, even during a 2.5 hour tour! It was so much fun and we learned a lot. Highly recommend Mariaclaudia tours!!

Three tours worth every penny and more!
We did three family friendly tours in three different cities and loved them all! Our kids were so engaged and learned a ton. The guides were all highly communicative and educational. As a busy mom responsible for planning everything, it was so nice to sit back and have someone else be in charge for once - and do it better than I ever could. If you’re on the fence just do it! You’ll be so glad you did.

One of our highlights!
One of the highlights of our trip was this tour. Veronica is an absolute gem and fantastic with kids, not only did they (and us) have so much fun, but they learnt so much and still tell family and friends all their fun facts. It was a ridiculously hot day and Veronica ensured we were all comfortable and still had an enjoyable time. Would 100% recommend and would definitely book again.
