Great introduction to Quito and some of the food in Ecuador. The chocolate tasting was my favorite. And Vivi was a charismatic, enthusiastic guide. Would love to join her on another tour if I had more time.

This was a fun tour and took the perfect amount of time. Our guide Vivi was fantastic. She got everyone engaged, was very knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. The crowd was a good size. Large enough to feel safe but small enough for everyone to hear Vivi and participate with questions. The cost was very reasonable.

Vivi is absolutely amazing! This food tour was excellent, not only did she pick great foods to try, the historical piece was exactly what we were looking for as an introduction to the city of Quito. My friend and I highly recommend this tour!!

Our guide Vivi had a great personality and was really energetic and knowledgeable. We had a nice downhill walk from the basilica around historic Quito. We got to try so many different snacks and dishes throughout our way. While we thought we would need lunch after the tour, we certainly did not. It was a good combination of an overview and some more in depth topics that left room for future personal exploration. Overall, we saw many of the highlights and got a chance to pick up a few souvenirs. We had a few challenging members of our tour, and Vivi handled it well. Tour was definitely worth the cost.

Vivi was our tour guide and provided an enthusiastic tour of the old city and various features of interest along the way. We did stop and taste some treats along the way and had a lovely lunch in a nice little restaurant. We particularly liked the chocolate tasting experience. We were in Ecuador for two weeks and still talk about the chocolate tasting. Vivi was my mom's favorite part of our 16 days in Ecuador. We met a person on the tour from our local area in the states and had dinner with him that night and stayed in touch while we all were in Ecuador, so it was also a nice bonding experience with other participants, too. Vivi made our first day in Quito, Ecuador exciting and interesting. I would highly recommend this tour for an introduction to Quito. Its an easy way to get oriented to the city and start to try the foods.

Kevin was an excellent tour guide; very knowledgeable about the history, culture, and food. We learned how these three areas intertwined to influence what we see and taste here in Quito. Kevin.was also very professional and friendly and made our tour extra fun. Thank you from Jacqueline and Lisa!

One of the most wonderful tours I’ve ever taken. Our guide Vivi presented historical, cultural, culinary aspects of Ecuador with super knowledge and enthusiasm. Learned a lot about Ecuador, its traditions, food, history and people. Loved chocolate tasting and had very fun time learning how to dance ! Highly recommend!

Excellent tour with the right mixture of culture and food. I learned a lot about Quito and also sampled lots of different types of food without either being too much.

Malena was an excellent guide on our food tour in Quito. She provided a great overview of the history of Quito, pointed out many things along the trip that we would have not noticed or know the historical significance of. And the food choices and stops along the way were well thought out. We left the trip with full stomachs, as well as a better appreciation of the history of Quito. Excellent!!
