We loved the experience..
The crew was very kind and attentive.
(Javi the captain was super good, we saw whales and dolphins, Andy the guide was super cheerful, Adrián was attentive and his sangria was super delicious, in general everyone was kind)
The best part was the swim in front of the Los Gigantes cliffs..
And the return to Puerto Colón was super beautiful and cheerful with music and relaxation….
100% recommended.

Good Route and Friendly Crew, but Far Too Crowded
The route itself was very good, and the crew were friendly and welcoming. The price was also reasonable for what was included, although the food was fairly average.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by how overcrowded the boat felt. There were so many people onboard that at times it felt like being packed in like canned sardines. The front of the boat had no shade, so the sun was very intense throughout the trip. The only shaded area was at the back, but this was also the smoking area, which was quite small and often had several people smoking at the same time.
There was also a noticeable smell of boat fuel toward the front, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy that part of the boat.
Overall, the crew and the route were good, and the price was reasonable, but I think the experience would be significantly better with fewer passengers, more shaded seating, and a better separation between the smoking and non-smoking areas.

Regarding the number of passengers, Shogun is certified for up to 145 passengers, but we voluntarily limit our capacity to around 125 to provide more space and comfort. As the boat has traditional bench seating rather than individual seats, the feeling of available space can also vary considerably depending on how passengers choose to sit and move around the different areas of the vessel.
We completely understand your comments regarding the sun. In fact, after listening to feedback from our guests, we have already installed additional awnings, so approximately half of the deck now offers shade while the other half remains open to the sun, allowing guests to choose whichever area they prefer.
Regarding smoking, this is only permitted in a designated area at the rear of the boat, which was specifically chosen because it is the location where smoke is least likely to disturb other passengers. Nevertheless, we understand that it can still be uncomfortable when several people are using the area at the same time, and we appreciate your feedback.
We’re surprised by the comment regarding the smell of fuel, as this is not something that has normally been reported to us. However, we will certainly take it into consideration and check whether there was any particular circumstance on the day of your excursion that may have caused it.

Fingers crossed your trip will be as good as ours
This was a great trip not only did we see both dolphins and whales which was a bonus.But the whole trip was great the boat was called shogun and was very comfortable good music good food and a wonderful crew

You should take the tour!
The weather was dusty of the sand from Africa and visibility was not very good. The ride out to the ocean was far from smooth and got some passengers seasick, but despide that, we got to see a big dolphine pod. Unfortunately, pilot whales were out of sight. There were also some groups of flying fishes to see. It was an enjoyable tour and best is to see the animals in nature instead of being in captivity!

Day aboard the Shogun
It was a nice day aboard the Shogun ship. We saw many whales and dolphins, the stop in Masca the best of the trip, plus we ate on board. Repeat without a doubt

Stunning cliffs.
Excursion very complete, we have seen pilot whales and dolphins. The stop for swimming and eating in the setting of the cliff of Los Gigantes, wonderful.

Performance not in accordance with the description
2/5 because although there is deception about the performance, we saw a family of whales and dolphins.
We have never been to los gigantes, let alone Masca Bay.
The shogun sails with the engine going back and forth between costa adeje and los cristianos and the swimming stop was made in front of the beach of los cristianos.
The crew is, however, very nice
The meal is very arbitrary

On the day of your trip, the weather and sea conditions were unfortunately not ideal, and for safety reasons our route had to be adjusted.
