Absolutely overrated and overly touristy, with the village perhaps once authentic and picturesque, today it is practically a bazaar with an endless series of persistent and annoying vendors. Even worse are the houses with crocodiles, forced to live in concrete cages for the visual satisfaction of mass tourism. To be avoided
It was a nice boat trip to the nubian villace with a lot to see, captain Khaled showed me and explained a lot. Nubian village is beautiful, I recommend doing this tour
Very nice excursions, we were only 2 with the guide. The latter was very nice, he explained well and also gave us moments to enjoy by getting a little out of the way. I really recommend it was at the top
My guide, who was also the boat captain, was waiting for me as arranged so it was a very easy pick up. I was the only passenger as I was informed that Saturdays are the change over days for the Nile cruises so it is a good day for sight seeing. It was so wonderful sailing along the Nile seeing all the exotic birds and the colourful houses in the Nubian Village and I felt very privileged to enjoy this beautiful journey in peace and tranquility. It was great value for money and a lovely experience.
