朝の始まりに、私たちはポート ダグラスから緑豊かな山岳沿岸の風景の中をドライブし、古代のデインツリー熱帯雨林へと向かいながら、この地域の歴史と文化について学びます。
壮大で牧歌的な野生の散歩では、古代の熱帯雨林の空き地や小川沿いの谷をハイキングし、デインツリー湿地熱帯世界遺産地域の美しく人里離れた滝まで行きます。この手つかずの岩のプールで泳ぐことができます。 この散歩は片道1時間で、少し難しいです。適度な体力とバランス感覚が必要です。ゆっくりとしたペースで進み、道沿いの手つかずの熱帯雨林の生態系に関する多くの興味深い詳細を共有します... その後、滝の真下で泳ぐことができるこの魔法のような自然の岩のプールでリラックスして爽快な水泳を楽しみます。

The tour with Allister was exceptional! He is a local and a wealth of information. We saw a lot of crocodiles, had an exceptional lunch and the hike to the hidden swimming hole complete with a waterfall topped off our perfect day!

An excellent day out with our guide Tom very knowledgeable about a whole gamut of things. Lunch was very tasty and the locations visited very interesting. Highlights were the crocodile cruise, with great commentary, then the waterfall swimming. As stated earlier Tom was great throughout where nothing was too much trouble and he was always courteous. Great day out.

The river cruise and hike to the waterfall was a great experience. We were able to see crocodiles in their natural environment and the hike was really enjoyable albeit it a bit challenging in some areas. Allister was a fabulous tour guide, being very friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative was the tea house which we stopped for lunch. Stopping in Mossman for lunch would have been preferable.

Allister was such an entertaining and kind guide. He pointed out so many things during the drive and the walk - that really made the difference for me. And where do you get your own private lil rock pool by the waterfall in the midst of the rainforest? We loved the entire day!!

We just got back from the BEST day with Allister - we were picked up from our resort in Port Douglas and had a very informative and fun drive to the hike, the waterfall was unreal, gourmet lunch was at a hidden little restaurant then on to an hour crocodile tour where we saw heaps of crocs! Then delivered back! It was such a great day and if you are visiting you should definitely splurge on this one!

We enjoyed the full day experience seeing 6 crocodiles cruising the Daintree River, a delicious barramundi and tropical fruit lunch at a rainforest restaurant . We had a unique hike in the rainforest to a waterfall pool for swimming through a private property. Very well organised by Alistair.
