My wife and I booked this trip because we had never fly fished. We wanted to drift on the Snake River to see the views. Kyle our guide was great. The scenery was beautiful and the fishing was fun. We would love to go back and do it again. Highly recommend it.
We had an awesome experience with Brandon! My wife and I had never fly fished before, and he was a fantastic guide and teacher. He explained how he chose the flies based on what was currently hatching—and clearly he knew what he was doing. While he was still teaching us how to cast, my wife caught her first fish, and before we really even got going, she had already caught three! Communication was excellent from start to finish, including where to meet, when to be there, and what to bring. We were expecting some rain, and all the rain gear and footwear we needed was provided. Brandon made the entire experience easy, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend!

Travis (our guide) was terrific. We had a blast and learned a lot. He is super patient and knowledgeable about the river. Loved all of his cool sayings. The scenery is beautiful. Could not recommend more highly.

Family had an incredible day on the Salt River with our guides Jack and Boston. They were patient, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the river, fish, and fly fishing techniques. We caught whitefish, cutthroat, and brown trout. Highly recommended.

Our first time in WY and first time fly fishing. It was a great adventure. Brandon was a good teacher and we felt safe on the river with him. We even saw pelicans and bald eagles. Definitely was a good day!

Our guide Ryan was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the Green River. We each caught a few fish but that was probably only 25% of what bit the lines. There was a lot of action out there and that is for sure based on Ryan’s expertise of what lures to use and where the best spots are. We had a fantastic day. This was our third time fly fishing around Yellowstone, Glacier and Grand Tetons and this trip was definitely THE BEST. If you’re looking for a great day of fly fishing look no further than Wandering Angler.

Jackson Hole was Amazing, we were there for a week, some of the most Beautiful Country in the world, we enjoyed the Park Tours, Fishing Snake River, Taking the Trolly up the Mountain, the many shops, restaurants, Art Galleries and more in town. We Loved it so much we booked again for 2026 and will be back in August. So many things to do and see !!!!!!!!
