I was never picked up. I left a message twice to confirm my pick up. He never responded. Then when I spoke to him, he just said that he left and not in the area. I had to book with another company at the airport and I prepaid. I will contact my credit card company and dispute this charge. Do not prepay.
The driver was nice and friendly throughout the ride - he arrived 30 minutes late but got us to our destination on time. I think he was pissed a bit - he didn’t get a super large tip - but we only had 2 bags of which he just took out of his trunk. Be careful of bait & switch with the quoted pricing - we paid the quoted amount but the driver tried to guilt us into paying more cuz he said he didn’t have the correct pickup location when that was untrue - that part i didn’t like or agree with.
if you want to support local business in Jamaica, Juta/Antsman Tours is the one for you! The owner came himself to pick us up right after the hurricane in a different car because his regular van was too big to pass all the debris in the roads. Although he didn't even have power at his house, he came to pick us up ( on time of course!), was upbeat, professional and informative along the route about local interest points. Juta Tours went 200% above & beyond to make sure all was seamless in our trip & we deeply appreciate that. He also does private tours to Ricks Cafe, ATVs etc - just ask him when he picks you up.
