Do not waste your money the whole thing is a scam the boat driver said we came on a good night and all we saw was a little glow that you could barley see and for one person it was 25 dollars.
I’m so sorry to hear you have this disappointing experience, however for writing this unnecessary and unreasonable response on our website, Luminous Lagoon is a Nocturnal Nature tour which no human being has control over its aesthetics, it would be very considerate if you would read the entire cost on ALL WEBSITES, that the entry fee is $25usd for any participant, please to be specific to give a review at the relevant site that collaborates with your so called negative experience.
Very overrated. Pictures taken by professional photographer so did not allow go pro. Muddy bottom pond at best. Boat only went about 100 feet from dock. Only in the water about 10 min. Supposed to be 45 min.
CONGRATULATIONS,,,, you have been very successful in crushing our livelihood as a BUS TRANSPORTATION OPERATOR, that drive clients to various attractions. Fortunately YOU DIDN’T BOOK our company, and I’ve contacted you personally on several occasions, but I think it your pleasure that you choose to tarnish our reputation in service. Even though this is a lagoon where the river meets the ocean, you need to be aware that soil washes down with current, and the experience is to swim and not to stand. 2nd, it would be easier to ask the attraction for a refund than to be lying about boat went 100fts from dock and supposed to be 45 minutes, we do hope you will never have any individual treats you this way as you did to us, God bless you and your family through all your endeavors 😭😭
Definitely recommended. Nice evening event which is highly memorable. Very few places globally with year round natural bioluminescence. Nice crew on the boat made for a fun experience. I recommend diving into the water, which was perfectly warm. Just be aware of very limited options for changing clothes, so perhaps plan to arrive/leave in swimwear.

Our driver was on time for pick up, we got to see a little bit of the town then headed to our lagoon cruise. We felt very safe on the boat and really enjoyed our captain and his mates. The luminescence did not disappoint! It’s magical!! Our girls are 12 and 17 and agreed this excursion was a highlight of our trip! Highly recommend Leon and Jamaica Experience Tour!

Went on November 28 2023 paid $40 for pictures and never got them. Had our sunwing rep call email and we called and emailed with no reply. Great experience but pictures are a scam!! Its too bad! A memory only in my head. So sad
Such a unique experience - there aren’t many places in the world where you can get in bioluminescent waters. It’s magical! At first, we thought the boat had a light underneath by the motor, but it didn’t. Captain Dave (aka Mr. Comfort, because he likes to keep his guests comfortable, and indeed, he did!) swirled the boat around in circles as we watched the waters light up. We jumped in and it was like we had glow sticks on our fingers and toes, but we didn’t. The more you moved, the more it lit up. So glad we did this, it was such a cool experience. Highly recommend!

Visited yesterday . Booked through tui rep at our hotel . Coach seemed to take ages as a few pick ups on the way and guests not ready . Driver had to keep going in the hotels to find them . Wasn’t expecting the driver to take a detour on route either , guess where to ? A gift shop . Boat ride was nice and cooling though . Didn’t notice the water changing colour much at all , than back for a little show if a man limbo dancing and fire eating , which was good . Overall nice to get out of the hotel for awhile but certainly not amazing
Good evening, I’m asking you PLEASE to recognize our appeal for the removal of your bad review from our company, we don’t even work for Tui, we don’t do gift shop stop to luminous Lagoon, we’re honestly letting you know we weren’t the company which took you an your luminous lagoon night tour, this is really affecting your ratings and we truly don’t deserve this, we’re asking you again kindly to remove this false information of us @ Jamaicaexperience.tours. would highly recommend NOT doing this tour! ESPECIALLY if you’re British! We waited all day excited for this night time tour and we’re left extremely disappointed. It took us a 30 minute drive each way to get there and whole thing lasted 20 minutes from arriving, getting on the boat, swimming and leaving. I expressed my dissatisfaction to one of the women that worked there who was adamant that the workers on the boat said that we said we were ready to come back! Which was a lie! We didn’t even ride around to look at the water. The photographer only took 2 crappy photos of me which you could barely see any glow and they wanted a tip and to pay €30 per photo after paying€30 for a 10 minute boat ride. Absolutely money grabbing! And our tour guide said they always do that to British tourist’s because we don’t tip. Well if I enjoyed I would have tipped and bought a photo but regardless WE PAID FOR THE EXPERIENCE!!!!! It’s like they expect money for nothing. We’re hard working people who save up to come on holiday and enjoy these excursions ! And no welcome drink! No dancers or fire show. Staff had attitude when complained . Nothing like you see in photos the saturation must be edited! I’m so glad I didn’t get stung by jellyfish like others did in their reviews. I’ve enjoyed every single other tour I have done here over the years except this one!

Sorry to heard of your negative experience, however can I get the booking reference number for the tour purchase so we can send it to TripAdvisor to prove that it’s not us that do this job. Why is it we should take this blame and responsibility and it’s not our company that does this job. Please don’t use ignorance and put down innocent dedicated company. We’re working tiresomely to make our livelihood a bless and outstanding one. We always try to uphold our reputation because that’s what elevates us to where we’re at this moment. We’re very disgruntled to know what you have written about us and we don’t advertise anything about fire dance, there’s NO women works at this section of the lagoon, also it would be RIDICULOUS TO CHARGE €30 for 1 single pic, we would be happy if you remove this review and find the correct company that you do this tour with because there are over 500 tour companies in Montego Bay, I do hope you are successful in ALL YOUR ENDEAVORS OF LIFE AND I PRAY GOD NO ONE TREATS YOU IN THIS UNFAIR MANNER 🙏🏾
Wow this is a must for all1 of only 3 luminous lagoons in the world and deffo worth every penny Swimming in it is amazing and the show afterwards is ace

The lagoon colors at night are amazing. They also offered complimentary rum punch or water. If you enjoying swimming at night you’ll love this.
