My daughter and I had such a beautiful experience. Our transport service was Leon. Two words for the experience, amazing and hospitable. Our river driver, Renaldo (Rasta) was a wealth of information, sharing his personal experience as an islander and about the oasis of Jamaica. This was good excursion but the people made it 1000 times better.

This was the perfect excursion to bring two toddlers on! Leon was amazing—so helpful, friendly, and very professional. We were so impressed with the experience. The river rafting was gorgeous and relaxing, and a perfect change of pace from the beach. We got to swim in the river while floating down too, and we all had so much fun. Absolutely 10/10, a must do!!

We went rafting at Martha Brae with Leon. Leon was a fantastic guide from beginning to end. Friendly, knowledgeable, safe driver. The river itself was great. Our rafting captain was also knowledgeable and accommodating. We had a great overall experience. 5/5. I'd recommend this tour. Thanks Leon!

This experience was like no other. Our captain John was the most personable captain. The rapids were quite swift, so the 45 minute float on the river was relaxing and truly a Jamaican experience off the typical beaten path of beaches and shopping. Our tour guide from the port to the Martha Brea River was Chantel and she told us a lot about Jamaica, taught us some Jamaican sayings, and answered any question our tour group asked. Very sweet and hard working young lady! The bus driver, Dwayne was bar none the best at maneuvering that charter bus through the city traffic in Montego Bay, in the mountains and in the tiniest parking lots. So, if you're looking for something very local to do, this is the one! It is relaxing. My feet got splashed a couple of times bc the river was really rushing the day I took this excursion. Many of the captains carve out a little vase out of a coconut (maybe) and offer to sell it to you. I liked this bc it's a local and meaningful souvenir from someone you now know and it is useful. I'm so glad I chose this excursion on the cruise. I did book it through Carnival. They even squeezed in an hour of shopping time before getting us back to the port WELL in advance of getting back on the ship on time.

Leon was a great host. He showed me the sites along the way and was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience with Leon over the Easter weekend. He took us to the Martha Brae River and truly went above and beyond from start to finish. Leon is incredibly friendly, so knowledgeable, and seems to know everyone – which made the whole day feel effortless and special. He shared loads of local insight along the way and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. An absolute star of a guide – we couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Leon was such a fantastic guide!! The drive was great with lots of great conversation and history! Rafting was incredible! This was a great tour in Jamaica for anyone who loves the water but doesn’t want to swim! Definitely go with Leon he makes the experience memorable!
