The Phillip Island tour, which included stops at the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, Cape Woolamai, The Nobbies and the Penguin Parade, was a fantastic, fun and educational experience!
Our guide, Bob, was knowledgeable, fun and interacted so well with our group!

Wonderful tour
This tour is really fun! Jam packed day and plenty to do and see. I came with my partner for my birthday and couldn't have had a better day. We had Lucy and Bill as our tour guides, they were fab and super friendly. Lucy was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of melbourne and philip island. The tour itself allowed us to see tons of wildlife both in the sanctuary and out in nature. The scenery was stunning and there was never such a long break through driving or activities that it got boring. 10/10 would recommend if you want to see the animals and nature melbourne has to offer for an affordable price compared to other similar tours! Especially convenient if you don't have a car. The photos are of the Nobbies, possibly my favourite place where we even managed to see a wild echidna!

And a wild echidna at the Nobbies! 🦔 That’s such a special find, and we can see why that stop ended up being a favourite. The Nobbies are beautiful at any time, but spotting wildlife there is an extra little bonus.

Great experience to the blue penguin parade and them coming out of the ocean and them returning top their borroughs/home. A great natural phenomena. The guide Sheriff was quite friendly and jovial

A wonderful, animal-packed tour - unforgettable
Signed by for the Phillip Island & Penguin Parade tour for our family of three. Initially, I was worried that we'd all be worn out, as the tour left in the morning, and we wouldn't be back until well into the evening. This was not a problem at all, as the tour was great fun for all, and led by our enthusiastic tour guide AND driver Reece.
Our tour included a short at the stop at the Brighton Beach Boxes, then on to the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park -- where we got to get up close with koalas and pademelons, but best of all the chance to feed and pet the roaming wallabies and kangaroos, who were sweet and friendly. For animal lovers, seeing the aforementioned fauna, as well as wombats, gliders, quokkas, quoll, and potoroos was almost cuteness overload -- but my family and I really loved it.
After a nice lunch at Moonlit's cafe, we made our way to the star of the tour, the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. En route, Reece talked about the history of Phillip Island, and its transition from suburban homes to a preserve for the penguins. We purchased premium viewing tickets for the parade, and were treated with up close views of the hundreds of little penguins marching up from the beach to their burrows. Although they don't permit picture taking (flashes disturb the penguins), it really was an unforgettable viewing experience for us.
Throughout the long drive, Reece entertained us with explanations of the area and the history, interspersed with humorous observations. He had a great sense of how to balance his narration with some "down time" for us. A long tour? Yes. Worth the time and money? Absolutely, and more than every penny.

We’re especially happy to hear that the long day turned out to be much easier than you expected! A full day out to Phillip Island can look pretty daunting on paper, especially with the evening finish, so knowing that your family had such a fun time from start to finish is wonderful to hear.
It sounds like Rhys found a great balance for the day too. There’s a lot to take in between Melbourne and Phillip Island, so having someone who knows when to share a story and when to give everyone some quiet time makes such a difference on a long drive.
And it sounds like the wildlife really delivered for your family! 🐨🦘 From getting up close with the wallabies and kangaroos to all those less common little faces at Moonlit Sanctuary, there was certainly plenty of cuteness to go around. Then finishing with hundreds of little penguins coming ashore is a pretty special way to end the day. 🐧💛
We’re so glad the Penguin Parade lived up to the anticipation, especially with the premium viewing giving you those close-up moments. Some wildlife experiences are definitely better enjoyed without a camera in your hand!

Emptied my bucket list for Melbourne with a small dent in my pocket.
We got to see and touch the koalas, wallabies,kangaroo, fed the ducks and cape barren geese at Moonlight Sanctuary. Although it showered a bit when the penguin started to land, the general admission for penguin parade was value for money. Got them off my bucket list.
The van was clean, not crowded. Jono adjusted the climate control to make everybody feel comfortable and our group were on time at every stop.
A very memorable experience!!!

Penguins and Scenic Stops
Our guide Bluey made the tour top notch. He was personable, made sure our stops weren’t rushed and was entertaining and engaging. The scenic stops weren’t great for photo ops and the penguin parade was amazing.

Wallabies, Koalas & Penguins, oh my!
This was an excellent tour led by Bluey who made the day fun & interesting and was so knowledgeable about the beautiful locations and Australian animals we visited.
