Our tour guide, Tejanie, made this trip truly memorable! He was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. His explanations were clear, and nothing ever felt rushed, which was especially important for me as I am currently recovering from a broken leg. Tejanie made sure I was comfortable throughout the experience and ensured that the tour flowed smoothly. His level of professionalism was unmatched. My partner was interested in planting a tree, and although it wasn’t something that was normally offered, Tejanie went out of his way to make that little dream a reality. He even had her name the tree, which made the experience feel even more personal and special. Those are the little things that truly make a difference! Afterwards, we met John, and he certainly didn’t disappoint. He made the chocolate-making process so much fun and was very knowledgeable about chocolate and the entire process. John even stepped in to help us when we got tired of pounding the chocolate. Thanks, buddy it looks like I may need to hit the gym! 😂 Chef Jana also took great care of us with some tasty wings and a delicious chicken roti. Everything was absolutely delicious! Overall, it was truly an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable adventure and the opportunity to learn about chocolate making. The price is definitely worth the experience, the ambiance, the food, and, most importantly, the amazing staff. I will definitely be back! This was the best experience and would highly recommend. Our guide was very informative and charismatic. We saw the cocoa tree nurseries, then walked around their gardens and learned about the cacao & coffee trees and various plants. We tasted fresh cocoa seeds, then had a very fun chocolate making class. I would recommend this it was 100/10 experiences.

A great experience overall. The day was very hot, and we didn’t realise how much walking and how many stairs were involved, so some people with health conditions struggled. Hotel Chocolat should consider putting fans in the area where the groups make chocolate. The prices in the shops were only a couple of pounds cheaper than in the UK, so there wasn’t much incentive to buy anything. However, the Hotel Chocolat milkshake was delicious, and there was a good variety of food available in the restaurants.

Such an amazing experience from start to finish. Making our own chocolate bars from scratch was so great. The guide Vernice was amazing. And then the lunch afterwards and local drinks and treats were phenomenal. Would rate this experience 10 out of 10 for families and couples and anyone who just wants that amazing experience. Also, the beauty of the surrounding area is unmatched. You’re nesstled in a rainforest making chocolate from scratch, which was surreal. Would definitely do again.

It was an amazing time, super friendly guides. Perfect amount of time to spend the day together.

It was very fun! Plan for it to be an approximately an hour and show up on time to engage in the full experience. We had a great time. Our hostess was very fun and informative. I’d do it again!

Amazing experience!!! Loved the whole experience from learning about the plants, seeds, growing process, and finally making a chocolate bar from nibs, cocoa butter, and sugar!! Plus our tour included lunch!! There is a lot of walking on the tour, but it is not horrible. It is so worth it!! Our whole family LOVED it!!

The experience was really cool. My wife and I really enjoyed learning the history of chocolate and how it is now processed. It was really fun making the chocolate bar as well. Our guide Nathan was funny and made the experience that much more enjoyable.
