It is a full day of activity with nonstop visits in Modena. Good for those wanting a lot to see. Each stop is pleasant and educational. Would not mind a little slower pace though. The Balsamic vinegar factory with lunch was a favorite. Our driver Michael was delightful and very helpful. He made the day most enjoyable. Of course, the Ferrari factory/museum is a special treat not to be missed. A very enjoyable day.
Everyone was friendly, the locations were interesting - particularly the balsamic and parmigiana tours. The winery tour is more about lunch than a stroll or visit to grounds. All of the businesses felt small and family oriented except Ferrari - which is fascinating but much larger scale than everything else
Perfect way to spend the day learning about how Parmesan cheese is made. We were very lucky to be able to taste the cheese of the white cow…delicious! Our tour of the Lambrusco winery was quite an experience. The museum is full of amazing relics and we were lucky enough to meet the owner, Giacobazzi! The balsamic vinegar was incredible! Learning how long it takes to mature and eating a fantastic lunch at this quaint B&B was a great way to end the foody portion of the tour. Highly recommend, especially if you’re also into seeing the history of the Lamborghini, which is also quite amazing!
If you want to have an experience of the heart of each region, this is for you. In each of the experiences, we feel the passion of each artisan, allowing us to discover their local products.
The dairy and cheese tasting was excellent. Our tour guide there was wonderful. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The remaining tours were not as engaging. For example, the balsamic vinegar tour started in a hot, stuffy attic. That was important, because the history of the "family" barrels was fascinating to see, but it was a 97° day, and the guide continued to give the talk in that stifling room! I finally had to leave. To her credit, she finished the tour outside in the shade, but I think she should have been more tuned in? Also, our driver, Alberto, although prompt and nice, drove like a crazy man! It was a scary. It may be typical for Italy, but, again, maybe adjust to your audience? Having said all that, I did appreciate getting to cross 4 things off my list in one tour, and I was glad not to have to get in a car again the next day. The vehicle did have air conditioning, which was mandatory in the hot weather, and the small group (there was only one other couple in the van with us), was really nice, so we could spread out. A 3 out of 5 is pretty accurate for our experience.

We’re very pleased to hear that you particularly enjoyed the Parmigiano Reggiano dairy, the small-group format, and the opportunity to experience several of Emilia-Romagna’s specialties in one day. We would just like to clarify one point regarding the balsamic vinegar visit: the “family” barrels kept in the attic are exactly how Traditional Balsamic Vinegar is produced and aged. The temperature changes throughout the seasons are an essential part of this centuries-old process. Unfortunately, an authentic production method cannot be adjusted for visitors’ comfort, as it is an authentic working acetaia rather than a tourist display. Regarding the driving, many of the producers we visit are reached via narrow, winding Italian country roads, which can certainly feel very different to visitors unfamiliar with them. We would, however, find it quite difficult to imagine anyone “driving like a crazy man” on these roads, where driving at high speed is hardly possible. Alberto is an experienced professional driver and consistently receives excellent feedback from our guests. Thank you for traveling with us.

Great experience visiting the Parmesan factory the Balsamic vinegar factory at a family’s private farm where we had lunch a very nice winery which had an amazing collection of rare cars collection by the owner and at last the visit to the Ferrari museum. The guide and our driver was a very nice person and very courteous

It was a very personal and informative tour. The cheese factory and tasting as well as the family owned balsamic vinegar asceta were amazing. The lunch we had at the agriturismo was wonderful. I would recommend this trip!
Excellent tour of the region. All 4 experiences were nicely done. Experience was Informative and immersive.
The trip was well organized, the driver was professional, van was comfortable, and the tours were all amazing. Impossible to be hungry after this tour. The Lambrusco tour was great, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cheese and Parmesan farm were incredible, and eating lunch in the vinegar producers home was a surreal homey experience.
