It was very busy so be patient. Was amazing see the sea turtles and other great water creatures. Please need to watch there kids a bit better.
Absolute blast! Would most definitely recommend that everyone enjoy the experience of seeing the world’s greatest gift!
It has been almost 30 years since I visited with my children, yesterday I took my 2 year old grandson and remembered why I had not been back. The concept is a giant cylinder with water and fish, most of them are gray, surrounded by a circular walking path to see thru the glass. The area is dark and it is hard for shorter children to see anything. It was a rainy day and very crowded with strollers as large as a small car littered everywhere. We stayed maybe an hour then left. The entry fee is over $40 per adult, discount of $5 or $10 with a New England drivers license. I have been to other aquariums with better exhibits and given its cost do not recommend.
Small , crowded , minimal fish . VERy overpriced Don’t go! Terrible waste of time and money
It is a wonderful experience. I came with my family and have a few times. I love the tank in the middle and the sea turtles are the best in my opinion.
We were in and out in about 1 hour, 20 mins with taking our time and visiting many areas twice. This is a small aquarium, but they had some great penguins, sea lions and seals. It is very expensive for what you get.
Small aquarium with lots of interactive events. Got to chat with the staff as they fed the animals and learn more about each animal they have and their conservation efforts.
Traffic is horrible and there is no parking at the Aquarium. Parking garages are pretty pricey. You may have to walk a distance for a garage with a decent price.
Maybe I’m spoiled from visiting Monterey Bay aquarium in Monterey, California but I felt this was way overpriced for what it is. You see a very large fish tank that spirals up the building and the view from the top is nice, you see a variety of tanks on the different floors, you see some seals and that’s it. 1 hour tops. Just felt it wasn’t really worth the price of admission. Maybe if you do this as part of a city pass or something it would be a better value? But $40 per adult was way too much in my opinion.
It has been 30 years since I first visited the New England Aquarium, and every time I pass through Boston, I don't miss the chance to stop by here, and every time it's as if it were the first. I highly recommend a visit, it's worth it!
