Castel Mimi is a very beautiful place that combines ancient and modern architecture. It was restored just under two decades ago, and its wine production was redesigned. The tour is extensive and comprehensive, and you can see the bottles signed by the leaders of the European Political Community, who held their second summit there in 2023. The tasting was fair, extensive, and accompanied by delicious snacks well thought out for each wine. On the other hand, the driver was very attentive, professional, and kind.

A great trip. I was collected from my hotel in central Chisinau. My driver and guide was excellent: he was very knowledgable about Molvova, and so the journey to Castle Mimi was very enjoyable. It is really important to have guides who know the local scene, and my driver was excellent. Castle Mimi is a great destination visit if you are interested in wine. Because of local circumstances, I had a personal tour around the winery, and it finished with a tasting of five wines. All round an excellent experience.

Good tour. Slava was my guide. Spoke very good English. He was knowledgeable about touristy things (dates, facts, etc) but also open to share about life in Moldova. He was also a safe and attentive driver. The tour at MIMI was given by an employee of the winery. Very polished. Good wines paired with interesting snacks. Recommend going when warmer to enjoy the fountain (closed over the winter) and outdoor areas.

This tour was amazing experience with Slava, he showed us all the iconic places from Chisinau, walking around telling us all the historic moments of each place. Finishing the tour at the Castle Mimi winery, all the history behind this beautiful castle and finishing with a delicious tasting of 5 types of wine and different snacks perfect for each wine. We really enjoyed the experience and the car had heating in the seats, something, that for winter, we really appreciated it.
