Sympathetic yet knowledgeable and well informed tour guide, focusing on many small but iconic spots and facets, who is able to respond questions and break down the interesting points for different audiences.
This was a fascinating tour, looking at several post war visions of the world and how these visions crumbled into dust. The guide was enthusiastic, knowledgable and weaved a thematically rich tapestry of a story. Great if you are interested in architecture and humans.

I joined the tour regarding the history of Stalinallee (Karl Marx Allee today). The tour was excellent — very interesting and informative. The guide shared fascinating history and details that really brought the area to life. The two hours went by quickly, and I truly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to understand more about Berlin's history and architecture.
We booked onto the Broken Utopias: The Many Lives of Stalinallee tour to learn a little more about the history of the area, and were not disappointed. Martina is an incredibly informative guide, and very personable. I can honestly say that this is one of the very best tours we have ever been on, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Very reasonably priced also.
The explanations as to how this boulevard came about were fascinating. In the beginning, c. 1952, the construction was indeed a project of the people. A history lesson, as I would have liked in school.
