Tour was super fun and engaging. Im from Chicago but a resident here. I live in the area and I now feel like I have real tea about Philly. Confirmed all my feelings about ghosts being everywhere. Tour guide Emily was friendly and very fun, thank you!
Emily was very knowledgeable & engaging
This tour was so great! Emily was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The history was fascinating and it was definitely spooky!!! Would recommend this tour to everyone.
Wonderful tour! Our guide was so knowledgeable and well spoken! We enjoyed our tour very much!
Tour guide was awful, hardly any ghost stories were told and downright incorrect information was given about Philly and colonial events. There were also no drink specials provided (as advertised) and 2 out of the 4 bars on the tour were closed. For the price paid, this was a scam.
Our guide Emily was great and knowledgeable of the history of the city! She did a great job of mixing history with ghost stories.
Emily was great! Very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. Just the right blend of history with some paranormal stories added in. She catered to our group which contained a couple children by keeping it PG, offering more grisly details privately for those who requested. Well worth the admission price.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad Emily’s knowledge and storytelling made the tour such a great experience. It’s especially nice to hear that she balanced the history and paranormal stories while keeping things appropriate for the younger guests in your group. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Emily. Thanks for joining us!
We had a terrific tour with Emily! She was very engaging and made the tour kid friendly but still keeping the spooky stories with a lot of history.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad Emily made the tour engaging for the whole family and struck such a great balance between spooky stories and Philadelphia history. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to her. Thanks for joining us!
Emily really brought the haunted truth back to the future through her research and obviously love for the incredible complicated but rich history of Philadelphia and our countries founding fathers and mothers. She gave me goosebumps SEVERAL times and I could see other's in the tour as well. 5 🌟 Emily
Thank you for the incredible review! We’re so glad Emily’s research, storytelling, and passion for Philadelphia’s complicated history made such an impression. Hearing that she gave you goosebumps more than once is about the best compliment a ghost tour guide can get. We’ll be sure to pass your five-star praise along to Emily!
Went with 11 and 16 year old. Wasn’t as interesting or spooky for us. The guide was nice, just not as engaging as I was expecting.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad your guide was kind, but we’re sorry the tour didn’t feel as engaging or spooky as you were hoping for. The Ghosts of Philadelphia Tour blends local history with haunted stories and reported experiences, so the level of “spooky” can vary from guest to guest. We appreciate you joining us and taking the time to share your experience.
