Roger the tour guide was awesome. Tour was awesome. 10/10 However I have done 2 yours and the air conditioning on the buses is awful. It’s gets super hot on the rides and definitely hurts the overall experience.

The bus driver and tour guides at the houses were very informative. You will love this tour. The food was great in Franklin.

Touring this area of Franklin gave a unique and deeply human perspective on the Civil War. Tennessee was at the crossroads of the conflict and no where represents that more than Franklin where communities and even families were divided. Touring these sites is somber as you learn about the soldiers, slaves, and civilians that were forever changed by the terrible night that was the Battle of Franklin. While a heavy topic, it is an important piece of history in understanding the Civil War.

This was a really excellent tour, with an informative and helpful driver, and well planned timings at each stop. The tour guides at each stop were excellent, providing vivid and detailed historical information which really brought the past to life.

The tour was a bit redundant. Each stop talked about the same thing. I would have just enjoyed stop one to Canton and had more time to explore the property. We didn’t get to see everything there.

What a great tour! Roger was the guide and did an amazing job. He was respectful, knowledgable, attentive, and knowledgable. The tour guides st the 3 home tours were wonderful. Lots of information. Beautiful scenery and compelling story telling. The history is a must hear. The respect for that history shown by Roger and the other guides was appreciated. Thanks Roger!

I learned so much about the Battle of Franklin but also was told stories to make me think about how war alters life.

If you want to be immersed in Civil War History in Franklin, this a the tour for you. It brings to life the sacrifices and community that survived the war.

This was an amazing day. Visiting Carnton, Carter House and the Lotz House. So much history and story telling about the bloodiest day in the Civil War. The bus driver and all the tour guides were amazing and really made you understand what happened November 30, 1864. The town of Franklin was the cutest town to stroll around and have lunch. I highly recommend this tour.
