パドヴァの教会の中で最も有名なのはサン・アントニオ大聖堂で、単に「イル・サント」と呼んでいます。聖人の骨は、彫刻された大理石で豪華に装飾された礼拝堂に安置されており、サンソヴィーノやファルコネットなど、さまざまな芸術家の作品です。大聖堂は、1232 年の聖アントニウスの死の 1 年後に着工され、翌世紀に完成しました。広場では、大聖堂の前にドナテッロのベネチアの将軍エラスモ ダ ナルニの壮大な騎馬像があり、ガッタメラータと呼ばれています。これは 1453 年に鋳造され、古代以来最初のフルサイズのブロンズ鋳造でした。

上層階に大きなホールがあるパラッツォ デッラ ラジョーネ (サローネ) は、ヨーロッパで最大の柱に支えられていない屋根を持つと言われています。壁は寓話的なフレスコ画で覆われています。最初のパラッツォは 1172 年に着工し、1219 年に完成しました。1306 年、アウグスチノ会の修道士であるフラ ジョヴァンニが全体を 1 つの屋根で覆いました。大ホールの下には、何世紀もの歴史を持つ 2 つの市場があります。フルッティ広場とエルベ広場です。
シニョーリ広場には、グラン グアルディア (1493 ～ 1526 年) と呼ばれる美しいロッジアと、ベネチア総督の住居であるカピタニアート宮殿があります。
ローマ時代以前からパドヴァの商業の中心地でした。今でも賑やかでカラフルな果物と野菜の市場を開催しています（月から土）

Ms Cristina showed us, in a couple of hours, interesting historical details about the beautiful Padua. Palazzo Bo' and Palazzo della Ragione engaged us - or rather delighted us - with their beauty, skillfully illustrated by Cristina with competence but also sympathy. We had fun learning, both my wife and I (now in our early years) and my teenage children. What should I say? The ideal guide. Good!
