Awesome tour with James! Our personal tour of Monserrat with James was phenomenal! He was so easy to work with and graciously accommodated our requests with stops at El Bruc and Santa Cecilia de Montserrat; a visit to the Throne Room of Our Lady of Montserrat; attending a concert by the Escolania de Montserrat Boys’ Choir; and hiking the paved path from the Saint Joan Funicular! James was an outstanding driver and host for our private half-day tour to Montserrat. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he was punctual, professional, and genuinely friendly. He had already coordinated our tickets in advance (including priority access to see the Black Virgin), which saved us valuable time and stress. Our group of six hired James for a half day tour of the Monserrat Monastery near Barcelona. The Monastery and Black Madonna were amazing and James provided excellent background information at each of our stops. The scenery alone is worth the trip!

We really enjoyed our time with Jaime and the trip up to Montserrat. He provided information as we drove through Barcelona up to Montserrat — current and historic information about the city and its people. (It was January so quite cold, and he even gave one of our girls his coat to use…he went above and beyond!). The area was beautiful and I understand why so many locals escape for the day to hike and enjoy the views. If you are going to Montserrat, I would highly suggest Jaime, and especially if you are in a group!

Easy ride from Barcelona. Car was spacious and comfortable. James explained everything about Montserrat and arranged for tickets for us to see the Madonna. The site is beautiful and definitely well worth the trip. Overall, it was a pricey experience to have a driver otherwise would have given it a 5.

Lovely trip to Montserrat. Easy pick up from the airport, transfer to Montserrat and transfer to our cruise ship. Great way to spend our first day!

The car was spacious and comfortable; James had great tips for what we should do in Monserrat and even went ahead and secured us tickets to see the Black Madonna while we were there.
