Rick was an awesome tour guide! He showed us the tourist spots AND a couple places off the beaten path, and we had a terrific time with him. Very knowledgeable about Montego Bay and its history, and a lot of fun to spend the afternoon with.
Overall, I enjoyed the tour. The food was great, and I really appreciated learning about the history of the city and getting a more local experience. My biggest issue was the transportation. We spent over 5 hours in a van with a large group, and the air conditioning was not adequate. Everyone was sweating and uncomfortable the entire time, which definitely took away from the experience. I also think the tour is overpriced for what was offered. The “rum mixology” portion felt misrepresented. When I think of mixology, I expect something interactive or educational. Instead, we went to a restaurant and watched rum punch being made in a bucket. The drink was good, but I wouldn’t consider that a mixology experience, especially given the price difference. That said, I can tell Rick is still growing his business and working out some kinks. The food, local culture, and history were all highlights. Fix the AC and better align expectations around the mixology portion, and this would be a much stronger experience.

However, we've made some progress and fixed the AC. Depending on the groups we use vehicles to accommodate a comfortable ride during the tours. Our group of 11 from Chicago had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the Montego Bay Jerk Tour and Rum Punch Food Tour! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Jamaican hospitality from our hotel pick up that made us feel like family. The authentic jerk chicken at Scotchie’s was outstanding, and the jerk sauce was hands down some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We enjoyed a fascinating tour through local neighborhoods, learning about Jamaican culture, family values, and everyday life. The fresh, hot beef patties were amazing, and sipping Tingz, ginger beer, and a freshly made rum punch was the perfect touch. By the end, we were beyond full—we were stuffed! Ending the day with beautiful photos by the beach and pier was the perfect finale. Thank you, Rick, for an authentic, fun, and delicious experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jamacia . ONE LOVE FROM CHICAGO!

Rick is amazing! He has been our tour guide/driver for two years. Initially, we planned on renting a car to explore Jamaica, however upon our arrival we were intimidated by the roads and the driving; Rick was recommended as a driver by our hotel and we enjoyed our time with him so much we saved his information and have been exploring Jamaica with him ever since. He is a great driver who will get you where you need to be safely. The car is very clean and comfortable. His Jerk and Rum tour is a great innovative way to explore the wonderful food Jamaica has to offer! He is professional, reliable, very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to ensure his guest are having a good time. He is a great source for the best food and rum spots and along the way he will give you an off the cuff history of Jamaica. We highly recommend Rick for all of your Jamaican adventures!
I am a terrible planner and while I was going through security I called the hotel, secrets montego bay, and they told me they would have a private car pick us up at the airport and take care of us. 10 Minute later, Rick Robb came to get us in his can which was incredibly comfortable and clearly well taken care of. Immediately, we felt comfortable and Rick shared some great information about the history of Jamaica and also told us about some of the things we could do on the island that might be fun. We had planned to just hang at the beach for the three days that we were there but the seed was planted. The blue hole sounded cool and dunns river falls as well and he didnt try to sell us hard but instead just gave me his card...We decided to take him up on the offer. And thus began one of the greatest adventures we have ever been on. Rick was always on time, picked us up at the hotel and had a great day planned. Some rum punch, a stop for Jamaica Beef patties, dunn river falls and the forever greatest Blue hole and Jerk chicken. I don't think I would have believed anyone but Blue hole was incredible. Rick made sure that we had a great guide, Marvin who helped us navigate the falls safely, jumping from rocks, cliffs, ziplines, platforms, you name it. AMAZING, Never once did we not feel safe and it was just amazing. Then came two of the best Jerk chicken places in history on the way back. All in all Jamaica was better because of rick. Pretty clear you don't get that kind of service in the group tours. Happy to share photos or respond to questions, just got incredibly lucky and looking forward to heading back especially knowing that we have our guide!! very rare that i go back and do the reviews but this was unforgettable and I would not have done it if rick hadnt planted the seed and then delivered!
Rick is a kind and professional tour guide. He showed us the sights, shared Jamaican history with us and took us to local spots we wouldn’t have found ourselves. When shopping, he always helped us bargain and find the best spots. The jerk chicken we had was one of the best things we ate the whole week we were there. Highly recommend!!
Rick our was an amazing tour guide we really felt like we were immersed in the culture. He was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. We don’t usually do a tour twice when we go somewhere but next time where in Jamaica we’re doing it again!!!
Rick is the best, great guy, super friendly, great with kids, very knowledgeable and makes you feel like family. I would recommend him 10 times over.
