It was a long day, bur well worth it as we saw a lot of the island. Our guide Andrea was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Our guide Christ took care of us for a day as if we were family visiting the island. Super friendly and helpful, led us to places well suited to our profile, including corners frequented more by locals. Super recomendado.
It was a nice tour, but don't take it if your cruise ship is in port for a short day. Our ship was only in port until 4:30pm. The walk from the ship to get out of port were you meet the guide is almost a mile. When we finally met our guide, Andrea, and told him that we want to be back in port at 3:30, he basically said NO! We will come back at 4:15! While the sites were very nice, Andrea gave us a lot of information and history about the places, he was completely not flexible (that's a private tour!), was like a recording programmed to say specific things. We were very stressed at the end driving back and had to walk the mile back to the ship very fast (after we already have done a lot of walking during the tour) to make it in time.

Tenerife is a gorgeous island and I cannot believe how much we got to see in this tour. Oliver drove us all over the island, and is so knowledgeable about the history, terrain, and important sites to see. The lunch of typical Canarian food we ate was wonderful, and even though it was Sunday and many places were closed, Oliver knew what we should see. He accommodated my friend whose mobility was limited and was really the perfect tour guide. This tour was worth every penny — we packed so much into the day and it’s such a beautiful island that I now want to come back again.

We had an amazing day with Oliver as our guide! He was an excellent driver and so knowledgeable about the history, flora, and fauna of the island. We also had a delicious lunch of traditional dishes and I got to try a very yummy coffee drink: Barraquito. We packed so much in and really felt like we made the most of our time!
