Incredible experience! My boyfriend and I booked the night before and, even though it was last minute, Mr. Victor was absolutely impeccable and immediately made himself available to receive us. The visit to the cows was excellent, we learned a lot and we could milk the cow, drink its milk and eat cookies! The conversation with Mr. Victor was also excellent, full of sympathy and good disposition. It also took us on a guided tour of the area around Lajes Base, sharing various local curiosities with us. To finish, we tried cheese with homemade sweet and wine. We highly recommend this experience!

My husband and myself had a great experience with Vitor who, in addition to the visit to the cows ground, explained all details of every interesting corner, helping us to understand the Azores society and how it functions. The contact with the animals was very nice as well as speaking with the farmer José, who very kindly helped us to milk the cow. In the end, we had a great cheese taste with wine and home-made jam at Vitor’s home and with his wife, Hèlia. A very full-filling experience in which we learned a lot. Thank you Vitor and Hèlia!

Vítor the tour guide was very organized with great communication on where to meet. Loved the shoe covers he provided for walking on the farm and the experience to milk a cow and drink the fresh milk was incredible. We also saw some beautiful scenery on the drive, had local cheese and wine and homemade cake while relaxing in hos beautiful outdoor garden. Vítor was a wealth of information and we loved our time with him and Farmer Joe! Highly recommend this tour!

We had so much fun learning about the cows and the island on this excursion! Victor did a great job teaching our group. We especially liked the chance to taste local wine and cheese at the end. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful morning with Vitor. He and his wife were very kind, knowledgeable, and hospitable. My kids loved milking the cows and have asked if we can come back to visit them 😌. We would highly recommended the tour!

Gonçalo was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the dairy industry here and of the island in general. Working in the dairy industry in Canada, I found it very interesting to chat with a dairy farmer and see how they do things up close. The cheese and wine at the end was great! My husband really enjoyed this tour as well.
