Architectural highlights
Liedewei was our guide and she provided information in a fun way . It was a nice walk at a steady pace around the city historic centre understanding the history, architecture and nature of the people of Ghent . There’s architectural delights at every corner .

Extremely informative 2 hrs, and very fun!
This was a great tour and I highly recommend it. Tatiana was an excellent guide. She was VERY well informed, spoke clearly and loudly in excellent English, with dynamic gestures, and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Too many people in the group.
As we had enjoyed our Bruges tour with Legends so much, we booked onto the Ghent tour a few days later. Sadly, this was nowhere near as good. The guide allowed another large group of people to join the ones who had booked online. In Bruges, there were less than 20 people in the group. The Ghent had almost 30 people. This meant that sometimes you couldn't hear what the guide was saying (not just me, everyone who was at the back). I appreciate that the guide gets more tips from more people, but it did spoil the tour.

Best way to see Ghent
This tour was the best way to learn about Ghent and its fascinating history. Our guide, Liedewei, was exceptional; Not only was she knowledgeable but she was also engaging and entertaining, a splendid combination.

Ghent historical walking tour review
Leidewei was enthusiastic and entertaining. She had great knowledge of the city and interacted with the group in a very friendly and natural way. We are from Australia and her English was very easy to understand. The tour is not difficult to walk for anybody considering doing it.

Must do walking tour of Ghent.
5 stars to our Guide Robbin. The walking tour was very educational and interesting. The 2hr tour is best way to understand the history and see to local sights of Ghent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny and full of anecdotes.
