We had the most marvelous time in Osaka with Kai helping us with the shopping. She met us at our hotel making it easy for us.
We had communicated the range of souvenirs and memorable items we wanted to pick up on our last day in Japan. Kai had planned the routes and shops for us to check out.
She took us to shops that the local shoppers would use and not the tourist focused.
She was patient and directly provided useful and informed advise on our purchases.
In just four hours we were able to whisk around with Kai knowing every little shop and short cut to get across on a busy national holiday.
Just as a small example we picked up:
- chop sticks with inscriptions
- souvenirs from Pokemon Centre
- Eye sight tested and new frames
- whole variety of kit kat flavours
- numerous cosmetic items
- Specific Anime T-shirt
- Kimono for a 2 year old
She even introduced us to a vegan raman cafe.
A really well I formed and knowledgeable guide. I would recommend her to anyone after a walking shopping or foodie tour in Osaka.

Luxury Vintage Shopping with Fumiko
I spent a lovely moring in Osaka checking out the vintage luxury purse scene with Fumiko, my guide. She helped me find shops that carried the items I was looking for, but more importantly was a great shopping buddy and translator as needed. This private tour was a great option for me when I wanted to go shopping and the rest of my group didn't. We did run into a problem that my tour started at 10am and most of the shops we wanted to look at didn't open until 11am. Fumiko tried to find the few places that opened early for us to start at, but I would advise starting shopping tours at 11am to avoid this issue.

Making Friends in Osaka
What a great day with my private tour guide! It was like having a best friend to show you all the best spots- even met a few more friends along the way. I was looking for cooking and housewares and Mayura showed me some great places, as well as some good spots for snacks and even had a Sakura latte. Highly recommend the personalized walking experience.
