It was nice to get out on the water and see a little bit of the coast. It was only a 2-hour tour and the boat only held 5 people, so I knew we wouldn't go out very far and not go too far away. It was disappointing that only 3 people could sit in the front at one time; the other two had to sit behind the captain. Our captain was only in his second year, but he navigated the boat well. He handled incoming waves so that we didn't get wet, and took us into several caves. It just wasn't that interesting of a tour though.

Your feedback to our internal team was that you enjoyed the tour, but it seems that maybe you had a different opinion when writing the review.
We are very sorry about the route of the tour however, the areas you would be visiting are clearly listed prior to booking. This is also intended to be a more relaxed sunset experience rather than a fast-paced tour where we are constantly moving from one location to another. Because of this, there are naturally fewer stops than you would typically have on one of our standard daytime tours. There is also time allocated to watch the sunset from the boat and relax with drinks.
The boat can accommodate up to 5 people, and we can fit 4 or even 5 up front depending on the size of the passengers. If you wanted a bit more room between each person, then separating 3 up front and 2 in the back would've been just fine. Our clients really like this boat and we specifically choose it for our sunset tours because it has great reviews and feedback from other guests for comfort, style and space.
All of our captains are properly licensed to operate the boats. Our daytime tour captains have at least 5 years of experience, while our sunset captains around the Sorrento Coast have at least 2 years of experience and are very familiar with navigating the coastline during sunset tours. They are all local Italians as well that grew up in the region.

Once in a lifetime experience!
This sunset cruise was perfect! Angelo was our captain. He took us to see some amazing views followed by a beautiful sunset. He was also very careful on the water, steering the boat in such a way that the boat rolled over the waves as gently as possible. Overall, the experience was very memorable! Don’t wait! Book this, and ask for Angelo to be your captain!

Beautiful experience
Absolutely loved this boat ride with Angelo. He was charming and funny and gave us a most memorable end to our day. We found the whole experience relaxing and fun. I absolutely recommend this excursion with Angelo. He played music, had fun facts and was entertaining.

Fantastic Sunset Cruise!!!
Captain Angelo was the BEST!!!! He took us around Sorrento and the smaller cities along the coast. He even allowed us to swim in the Mediterranean Sea!!! He made the adventure so much fun!! I would highly recommend him to everyone!!! He even gave us some of his grandmother’s(Olga) homemade Limoncello!! The sunset was SPECTACULAR!!! Thanks Captain Angelo, can’t wait to see you upon our return!!!

Do not book on this...
Do not book on this website. Bate and switch ad. First they posted a price of ~$400, when I clicked into it the price was ~$500, when I got the receipt before the cruise the receipt said ~$300. The company stated the rest is the viator commision. Feels very scammy. The tour itself was nice, I didnt like the price games.

To clarify, our tour prices on Viator can vary from the initial tour page to the final checkout price once a specific date and number of guests are selected. When you first viewed the tour, you may have seen the low-season starting price for 2 guests. Once you selected a high-season date and 4 guests, the price increased based on the way the tour pricing is structured. This type of variable pricing is allowed on Viator, and unfortunately, we do not control exactly how Viator displays the starting price before the client selects the final date and group size.
My colleague did also explain the price shown on the ticket when you asked about why it appeared lower than what you booked. We were under the impression that the explanation was clear that there are other fees involved that were not displayed when we sent over the ticket, therefore resulting in false accusation of us charging you less than what you paid and thinking that we "scammed you."
We are sorry this affected your overall experience, but we are happy to hear that the tour itself was nice. I hope that we can clear this up and please let me know if you would like one of our staff members to personally call you and explain the pricing structure again.
The price shown and paid through Viator is the official booking price, and there are no hidden charges or bait-and-switch pricing from our side as Viator is a very secure and high-quality booking service, so this would never even happen, let alone would Viator allow companies to list their tours on here and tease future or current clients with misleading prices and or scams.
