This was my first trip to Oman, and thanks to my guide, Hamood, who was kind and thoroughly taught me about Oman's history and the unique features of each Arabian fort, I had a truly meaningful and wonderful time.
In particular, the World Heritage-listed Bahla Fort is a definite must-visit, offering a breathtaking view of the Omani landscape.
This experience made me want to visit Oman again.

Beautiful day in Nizwa
One of the things that truly made my private tour to Nizwa Fort, Bahla Fort, and Jabreen Castle so special was the quality of the people behind the experience.
Mr. Badar, my guide, was outstanding. His deep knowledge of Omani history, his clear and engaging explanations, and his ability to connect architecture, traditions, and daily life made each visit incredibly interesting. Thanks to him, these forts and castles were not just impressive buildings, but places filled with stories, meaning, and cultural depth.
Behind this seamless experience was Analiza, whose organization was, once again, excellent. The itinerary was perfectly planned, with smooth transitions between sites and enough time to explore and appreciate each location without any rush. Everything felt effortless and well thought out.
The route itself was fascinating. Nizwa Fort offered a vibrant introduction to Oman’s heritage, Bahla Fort impressed with its scale and historical presence, and Jabreen Castle was an absolute highlight—elegant, refined, and rich in architectural details that reveal the sophistication of Omani life in the past.
This tour was an immersive journey into Oman’s history and culture, guided with professionalism and genuine passion. Oman Landscape Tours continues to deliver high-quality, private experiences, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to truly understand the country beyond the surface.

Excellent historic tour with knowledgeable tour guide, Said.
Said was our guide for this tour and he did a good job answering questions and telling us about the historic sites. There was a lot of ground to cover so we moved along quickly and efficiently. This was not a leisurely tour.

Memorable Day Trip
Yassir was everything we wanted in a tour guide and then some. He had an encyclopaedic knowledge about Oman, and shared with us all about this fascinating country. His pride for his country surely came through. He took us a on a tour of the incredible forts and castles that made this country, and we were deeply immersed into its storied past and influences. We had asked for a local place instead of an expensive touristy spot for lunch, and Yassir delivered. You'll definitely be in great hands when Yassir is at the wheel.
