I booked a driver to pick my husband and I up when we got off of our cruise and take us to the airport. It was perfect when I walked out of the cruise terminal there was a sign with my name on it. Even though I was a little early getting off of the ship they were able to accommodate me pretty quickly. My ride was very comfortable, and the driver was very professional.
It would have been 5 stars if the app had been more specific on where and how to meet my ride to the airport. It just said at the Meritime Plaza, which is a 7-minute walk outside of the cruise terminal. It should have mentioned that my name would be on a sign at the exit of the cruise terminal.
The drivers were punctual and pick up location was clear. Even though we had several luggages, the drivers were very good at positioning them so they all could fit in the van.
Car service was waiting for us under the “Viatour” sign board. Van was big and clean and driver was very professional.
Very poor communication with the operator lead to extreme anxiety and therefore did not utilise the service.

After carefully reviewing the details, we noted that your scheduled pickup time was 09:30, and our team was preparing to meet you at that confirmed time. We understand that you arrived earlier at 08:30 and sent a message through the Viator system. Unfortunately, due to limited staffing in the morning, we were not immediately aware that you had arrived ahead of schedule or that your plans had changed. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and anxiety this caused. We truly regret that we were unable to assist you on-site and that this communication gap led you to take a taxi instead. Your experience is very important to us, and we are actively working to improve our communication processes to prevent similar situations in the future.

Six of us booked a transfer from the cruise port to the airport with a few hours of sightseeing in Taipei since our flights didn't leave until mid-afternoon. Vincent was our guide and made the end of our cruise trip truly memorable with visits to a beautiful temple, the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial, a food vendor street and theTaipei 101 tower. Vincent provided a running commentary and answered all of our various questions about culture and ilfe in Taipei. And we had a very comfortable spacious high-end van for our trip. Highly recommended .. it was better than many of the shore excursions from our cruise ship!
Our transfer from the cruise port to the airport was efficient and flawless. Vincent from Edison Travel met us at the ship with a sign with our names and a flashing light on it so we could quickly pick him out. The vehicle was clean and roomy. Five star experience!
