Our guide, Beatrix was very good. She brought historical context to the beautiful architecture. She had a very deep knowledge of history and entertained us with engaging stories about the royal history told with a good sense of humor. The palace is very beautiful with embroidered silk walls and gorgeous furniture.
Although it sounds unbelievable, the royal palace in Madrid is not a monument and is still a place of the monarchy, so be careful the date you choose, because if the king goes, you will be left out. Luckily, we spent a wonderful 3 hours with Rosalia, our guide. A must on your visit to Madrid
