My partner and i really enjoyed the ride. Going near a waterfall is something you do not always do. Maddie was an excellent driver and guide. Wetness scale is low, fun scale high.

A great thirty minute thrill ride. We've done other jet boat rides, but this was the best by far. A credit to the driver

A fun, exhilarating experience with plenty of spins and turns as well as seeing the amazing falls and learning about their beauty. booking was easy and staff were friendly and informative, Our driver was easy to chat to and knowledgeable about the area.

The ride is full of fun and very thrilling. The driver of the boat is very skilful.

Visited here on my tip around New Zealand with Hubby and Kids, was an absolute trill!! the staff were so friendly and helpful delivering the experience, was a tad pricey but a good value for money based on the ride you get. was much better then visiting the Huka Falls normally, 100% a must do in Taupo!

Fantastic way to see the falls!

Great fun! We went in August on a pretty cold day and it was still great. They even had warmed up life jackets and heated handle bars. You do get wet, but it was an amazing and exhilerating experience. I wouldn't do it if you have neck or back problems, as it is like a roller coaster on water. Be sure to wear raincoats, you will get wet.

1 Star 🙅 I have visited Huka Jet three times with my family but after our latest experience we will never return and will be actively advising our family and friends to avoid them entirely. Spending almost $1,000 NZD for a family group of six we expected a thrilling professional experience but were left extremely disappointed. Our driver was constantly chit-chatting with selected passengers in the front rows while completely ignoring our entire group at the back for the whole ride. Being of Indian descent it felt like we were treated like second class citizens leaving us feeling completely excluded and dismissed. Instead of delivering an exciting high speed adventure the driver spent far too much time stopped entertaining trivial questions and making small talk. We paid for a 30 minute thrill ride not a drawn out Q&A session. To top it off having been on this specific ride twice before it was obvious the driver was holding back on speed and intensity compared to previous trips. The thrill factor was completely missing. On top of the already steep price tag, they charge an extra $30 for photos which aren't even physical prints just digital copies emailed to you. Given the price point the poor driver attitude and the lack of speed there are plenty of other jet boat operators in the area that deliver far better value, faster rides, and genuine customer service. Extremely disappointing and a complete rip-off.
