Our boat driver was awesome! He navigated choppy, crowded waters very well. He also made everyone on the boat change places so those of us in front did not continue to burn in the sun. They also gave is bottled water which was nice on a hot day. He did great in the cave & made sure we had a safe space to swim.
The trip itself was beautiful, but the boat was traveling at a very high speed, and the captain showed little concern for the passengers’ safety. He did not take the waves into consideration, which resulted in passengers experiencing back pain, and one passenger even suffered an elbow fracture. Furthermore, two of the passengers got into an argument with the captain because of his handling of the situation. Instead of responding professionally, the captain was extremely rude and responded to them in a disrespectful and confrontational manner.
All our Skippers are highly experienced and well trained professionals. Sometimes weather can get rough at sea and for our guests it may seem that our Staff is not taking care however most of them do not know sea and its conditions and how to deal.with waves and avoid splashes on the boat. Particular guest was extreamely rude shouting bad words on our Staff and not folowing their instructions to sit down and to take proper place on the boat. He treated our Captain and his mate in really bad manner probably under influence of alcohol. No one was injured and our Captain spoke with each of them in person after the Tour so the statment is incorect and malicious. Wish we did not accept this person on board since he came in bad temper and probably intoxicated.
Lack of communication and poor instructions had us miss this excursion. Which is sad because it was the excursion we were mostly looking forward to. The cruise ship doesn’t port near where the tour guide pick up location is. And when i mentioned the cruise ship I was on not once did they explain that we would need to take a 1.5/2hr car ride to the meeting location. Even if i got off the boat early there wasn’t ever enough time to make it. Also, found it rude that i was hung up on once i told the person the issue.
We can not know schedule of your Cruise or your plans. We have guests arriving from Bar. They booked the Tour without checking if they can attend it. A day before we send them clear instructions where are our Boats and how to find us. We are sorry they jave missed the Tour but in no way this was our fault.
Well organised with friendly and experienced operator in Kotor, who spoke excellent English. The speed boat was a great experience and the scenery of Montenegro and Croatia was beautiful, the speedboat itself looked new and was a good size with 8 on-board. My gosh though, it's a very rough ride. I don't know if it was just our crew of two but it felt very unsafe at times. If you've got a bad back definitely don't ride, go for a larger boat instead. The two crew members were friendly and seemed experienced but safety didn't seem to be the highest priority with both constantly on their phones. We would have liked to actually swam in the blue cave with our younger daughter (9) who's a good swimmer but it was too busy and the alternative cave in open sea was way to choppy even for me (experienced sea swimmer) so unfortunately she didn't get the opportunity to swim. It would have helped if they had provided life jackets or floats like on the many other boat trips we've been in in France, Greece, Spain, Turkey and The Cayman Islands. Overall it was a great experience in a stunning location, but we wouldn't do it again. Montenegro you really do need to up your game when it comes to safety!!
The guide should have been more informative and ask their customers if everything is fine. But easy to get them to pick up and deliver us back to the hotel. Good to let us know how long we can be at each place we stop in.
I went on this tour despite reading some of the negative reviews, thinking I would give it a chance, but unfortunately, I shouldn’t have. The trip didn’t go as planned. We left 10–15 minutes late, which meant we only had around 2 hours and 45 minutes for the actual tour. We also didn’t visit Our Lady of the Rocks, even though it was clearly included in the itinerary. The guide asked us if we would prefer to spend 40 minutes swimming at the Blue Cave and skip Perast instead. I appreciated that he asked and I believe the intention was good, but I don’t think this was the right approach. People on the boat had different opinions, and when an itinerary is advertised, I think it should be followed rather than changed based on a group decision. Overall, I was disappointed because the tour didn’t match what was promised in the itinerary.
We had a great boat ride and blue cave experience. My kids loved jumping from the cliffs and diving acing down the harbor in the speedboat. Only negative was the boat didn’t have any life preservers so better be a decent swimmer! Didn’t seem like anyone really had them on other boats either…
Very beautiful experience, but unfortunately, no explanation about the places visited. The boat did indeed take us around the Bay of Kotor, we had some free time in Perast, about ten minutes in a tunnel, and a swimming stop at the Blue Cave. We did not see Mamula, nor did we land on the Island of the Rock.
It was a great experience. Our kids really liked it, but so did we.
We experienced the hidden beauties of the Boka Bay and the Adriatic Sea in the Mediterranean fjords with an experienced and knowledgeable guide captain.
