Beautiful scenery and a wonderful experience from start to finish. Captain Hayden was friendly and professional, and our guide Emily was engaging, informative, and fun. She brought the history and scenery to life. Highly recommend this cruise when visiting Banff!

We did the Lake Minnewanka cruise while on the Rocky Mountaineer / Brewster pre-train sightseeing tour from Calgary to Jasper. It was great. Lovely views.

We purchased tickets in Banff which included a bus ride to the lake. The bus was comfortable and the journey was about 20 minutes each way. We had a timed ticket for 4pm so we had about 30 minutes to wait before our cruise departed. The views are great and there is a small coffee place nearby along with a gift shop attached to the check-in office where you are assigned your seats. The boat probably holds about 50 people max and there is an area at the back where you can stand to see views. Unusually we managed to see a bear with Captain John and Jenna identifying where they were and handing out binoculars for a better view. Amazing and great job all round by these two.
