We shared an amazing day with our guide (Jose) through the Cocora Valley. The guide was local to the area and explained a lot, as well as being amabilisimo. Very affordable route. Amazing views. Recommended 100%. I'd definitely repeat.

We had the most incredible experience with Robin, our guide. He showed us how to make wax from the wax palm trees. He knew many of the plants and especially the birds. Our hike was long (14 km) but worth every step of the way. Robin is an experienced and excellent guide. Would highly recommend.

I could not recommend this tour of Cocora Valley more highly, particularly if you are interested in birds and biodiversity. My guide, Robin, was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time talking explaining the birds of the area. If you want to learn more about the local wildlife while taking in the breathtaking views of the Cocora Valley, this tour is for you.

Fantastic day hiking the Valle de Cocora. David was an excellent guide and we really enjoyed all his insights into this special part of Colombia. The scenery was stunning and we wouldn’t have discovered all the flora and fauna in the woods had we been on our own. Highly recommend this hike and Paramo Trek were very good at organising and communicating.

Best trekking company in Salento. We did the Cocora Valley tour and we had the best time with our tour guide, Mafe. She is very knowledgeable and so passionate about the valley! She showed us incredible places in the valley, such an amazing scenery. If you are in Salento, do not hesitate to book your tour with Paramo Trek.

Had a fantastic time! Our guide Seb was very knowledgeable and good at spotting birds. We spent ages at the hummingbird sanctuary and throughout the walk saw tons of bird life. The only negative comment was that lunch was back in town at 4pm once we had finished the hike, we were only provided snacks up to then.

Nicole shared so much valuable information with us during the hike that it allowed us to get a glimpse of the country's past as well as appreciate the beauty of Cocora Valley. We did the extra long loop, 13-14 kilometers. Though most people do the hike on their own, we're glad we had Paramo Trek as our guide. Ran into a couple who ended up doing 20 km because they got lost! Paramo also provide hiking sticks if you need. I highly recommend sticks coz coming downhill is no joke! Paramo Trek is a very good hiking outfit, very organized n professional from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

A very nice meeting with Diana, who introduced us to the best of the Cocora Valley.
