Our guide joined us in the city and sent his little brother off with us after the first spot. 5 words of English, otherwise we were just led from display board to display board.
Having our hands out for money at every spot was very unusual for us.
But the worst part was the almost pushy sales "talk" at the end in the tea and spice shop.
At the next table, another group was experiencing the same thing, the (Polish?) family had to become quite aggressive in order not to buy anything.
Absolutely unacceptable for the price.

Aggressive Verkaufsmethoden haben in unseren Touren keinen Platz, und wir werden dies umgehend mit dem betreffenden Guide und Partner besprechen, um sicherzustellen, dass sich so etwas nicht wiederholt — weder bei Ihnen noch bei anderen Gästen wie der Familie am Nebentisch, die Sie erwähnt haben.

Good driving, shame about the usual odious ‘marchettes’
Good guide that accompanied us. The place is worth seeing, it gives an idea of Egypt that you don’t see if you are in the resorts. Too bad for the usual marchette to pay to the shops of useless stuff, tourists that if you want you look for yourself. Turisanda, forget it and take the time to visit x see the beauty of the country.

Afternoon excursion to El Ouseir
We stayed with Shazly Noby ( staff on the beach / pool ) in the afternoon for 3 hours in El Quseir ( 23 € ) incl. drink . A former phosphate factory , the citadel , the mosque , a bazaar and a walk along the promenade to , a cafe where there were drinks .
All very informative and warm !
Highly recommended !! You are also insured through the hotel !

El Quesir day trip
Nice day trip, fine and friendly driver and nice guide Pedro in Quesir. Made all the effort and gave extensive explanations. We had a nice experience. This is the real Egypt and yet also confronting how poor this place actually is. There is a lot of potential for tourism, but such a fortress must be kept neat. I hope the government sees that.

Afternoon tour El Quesir
Very nice experience and really good to go away from your resort for such an afternoon, out of your 'luxury bubble' towards the real Egypt. Guide Pedro was top notch and made every effort to make it a successful tour. They should really clean up the fort and do some refurbishing here and there; cherish that heritage and there will be some more tourists. That's good for local sales.

Visit to the city of El Quseir
It was interesting to see how the locals live and discover the history that preceded them. Pedro our expert guide state really nice we found ourselves very well. I recommend doing this experience in the late afternoon from 5pm onwards. Because we did it at 1pm and walking in the 1pm sun was really challenging
