We had the pleasure this week of staying a night at Rydges World Square, Sydney, Australia. We have always found Rydges staff extremely welcoming and co-operative. We decided to have a meal in ‘The Cidery’ which is a licensed venue on the premises. On Tuesday, 2nd September, The Cidery was very busy as, apart from being open to the public it was also hosting a function which included copious amounts of finger food. This was an early evening event and one side of the venue was open to swirling winds that were racing throughout the buildings. I asked the very busy Bar Manager, Vaclav Cech if he would be so kind as to shut off the sliding windows to stop the blast of wind going through the venue. Without hesitation, he folded up the concertina windows and improved every-bodies comfort level (both wind-wise and noise-wise from so many attendees). We watched Vaclav lead his team by example, he continually brought platters of food to the guests, restocking and removing them as needed. He must have been up and down the steps 30 times in the space of an hour, just seeing to their needs. A staff member such as Vaclav is the epitome of my definition of hospitality, always smiling, serving and keeping everyone comfortable. If I employed Vaclav I would do my utmost to retain his services – surely a pay rise could be considered for this very hard-working man?

Other areas were the bridge walk, views of the opera house, historic knowledge of the city, a nice lunch at Rose Bay yacht harbor, some various bays, entrance of the main ship channel from the ocean and their cliffs - then ending with beautiful Bondi Beach before taking us back to our hotel in the CBD

This was an amazing tour. A great introduction to Sydney for our first day there. Grant, our tour guide, was great. Our lunch, the van, everything was first class .

We had a great Sydney Essential tour with Grant. He went at the perfect pace for our family and helped us have a perfect day. This tour is great private option - easy pick up at hotel, lunch with lots of options, and drop off back at hotel.

Scott was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and personable. I had broken 2 toes a few days before & he was extra considerate of my walking ability. We enjoyed his company & his sense of humor.

Grant was amazing. We did the Private Sydney Essential Tour. The tour was enjoyable from start to finish. It was a tour filled with beautiful scenery and history. We got to enjoy a wonderful lunch at Bondi which I would definitely recommend (Speedos). Seeing the city through the eyes of some one who knows the city is such a different experience. I would highly recommend this tour to any one who is a first time visitor in Sydney or even those seasoned visitors. The day in its entirety was a highlight and it was such a great tour! Highly recommend Australia Luxury Escapes for all your touring through-out Sydney.

Amazing experience! Our guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and fun. Great way to see Sydney highlights and areas you might not know of otherwise. Highly recommend.

Our group had the pleasure of getting Grant for the day. It was a great tour that showed areas of Sydney that are not your typical "touristy" spots which I really like. Highly recommend this tour/company and will definitely go on another one of their tours next time I am in Sydney.
