Cefa, with his calm character and sincere love for the history of Istanbul, adorned our short trip through the center.

A huge thank you to Sefa for such a great tour of Istanbul! We spent about 2.5 hours walking around the city, and the time flew by — it was genuinely interesting from start to finish. Sefa really knows his stuff and knows how to make it engaging. He is a pleasure to listen to, has a great sense of humor, and makes the whole experience feel relaxed and natural rather than like a rehearsed history lesson. I travel a lot and have been on many guided tours, so I have plenty to compare this experience with. Sefa is a true professional, and you feel comfortable with him from the very first minutes. I can highly recommend booking a tour with him — you definitely won’t regret it. I want to thank you for the wonderful tour of the Sultanahmet district. We didn't have much time between flights, but everything went perfectly. The organization of everything is wonderful. With the guide Cefa, we visited the Aya Sofya, the Blue Mosque inside, as well as the Topkapi Palace, the Hürrem Sultan Hamam, and the Roman Hippodrome. The guide, Sefa, spoke a lot of new things in good Russian, and I also want to note his excellent sense of humor. The tour was brilliant. If there is an opportunity in the future, we will contact Sefe again regarding the tour of the Bosphorus and the Asian part of the city. Thank you very much!

I am originally from Moscow and have been living in New York for the past 16 years. My best friend still lives in Moscow, so we choose Istanbul as our meeting point since it doesn’t require complicated visas. My husband’s colleague recommended Sefa Ozdemir to us, and after our tours with him, I can confidently say he is the best guide I have ever had. Sefa speaks Russian fluently, like a native speaker, and he is always punctual, attentive, and truly passionate about his work. We toured Topkapi Palace with him in February 2025 and Dolmabahce Palace in November 2025, and both tours were among the most interesting and informative experiences I’ve ever had. Even though I travel a lot for work (I work for the United Nations), the tours with Sefa were truly unique. He focuses on the essential details, explains everything clearly, and answers all questions. Each tour lasted about 2.5 hours, and that was more than enough to get a rich and memorable experience. I am already looking forward to my next trip to Istanbul so I can book another tour with Sefa. Highly recommended – he is truly the best guide.
