A bit of confusion at first. I did not realize you had to go to ticket office to obtain tokens for entry - having tickets is not enough. Ticket office is located ~5 min. drive from Cloud Forest entrance. Thank goodness we had a very nice driver who took us back to the office to get the tokens. Did not have the guide we were supposed to be with. Again, confusion about who we were supposed to be with because I did not receive notice from the originally assigned guide. Once our group was assembled, it was an enchanting walk through the Cloud Forest observing flora & fauna. Highlight was spotting the Resplendent Quetzal at the end of the walk! Our guide, Jose, was very animated & engaging, which added to the fun in this adventure.

Felix was an exceptional tour guide. Starting early at 7am we saw soooo many animals and were lucky with no crowds! He’s super passionate, engaging, and shares his excitement with his guests. Would 10000% recommend him.

We often travel with dear friends . We were lucky to have found this guide. Being in Costa Rica has been a spectacular experience. We have been on several excursions during our stay here and were excited to go on this one in the cloud forest. We met Felix after being driven there by Carlos( who himself is a wonderful man) We met our guide Felix - a charming young man. We spent about three hours with him walking through the cloud forest. He is extremely knowledgeable, eager to teach and his enthusiasm to educate us is contagious. If you want to see the cloud forest - Felix is the right person for the job.
