I don't know if there just isn't much to see in Oslo or if the tour was just lacking but it was really boring and I don't feel like I learned much. There was a lot of silence and gaps in the commentary. It wouldn't be hard to find something interesting to say I'm sure!

Money saver
Convenient for transportation bc taxis and uber are expensive. Only a few minutes wait at the stop even if you just missed a bus.

Terrible
Audio didn’t work and no announcements or information was given during ride, not even the stop number or attraction was announced as the bus stopped. Also, we were on the stairs going up to the top and the bus started making it treacherous to get to a seat. Very poor experience.

This is absolutely not the service we aim to provide. The commentary is an essential part of our tour to help you discover the city, and we have reported this issue to our local operations team in Oslo to check the audio system on that bus immediately.
We are particularly concerned to read that the bus started moving while you were still on the stairs going up to the top deck, making it treacherous to get to a seat. The safety of our guests is our absolute priority and our drivers are instructed to wait until all passengers are seated before departing. Perfect for Oslo Overview
Easy to do from Holland America cruise dock in Oslo AND less expensive, especially on a rainy day! We did the HOHO bus on Day one of our stop here to get an overview.

Nice way to get over view of the city
Bus was clean and head sets supplied and worked. Easy pick up and drop off. Covered a large area in a 1.5 hours for the complete loop

Terrible Company, Terrible Service
Terrible Experience & Terrible company! Booked tickets online on a rainy day in Oslo last week and never received the online tickets until 2 hours later when I complained. They had no human representatives around to help us out in this confusing situation. Then 2 hours later, when I asked for a refund they sent the tickets! When pointed this out to them, they told me in a that they have a no refund policy.
The two tickets totaled $108.76 USD - not much money to a worldwide company vs an individual who did nothing wrong in these circumstances.
This Company is a Scam and I would not use them as they do not provide a professional service!

A waste of money
We bought tickets from bus company desk at cruise ship terminal. Paid 1000 NKr for mother and daughter.
No commentary for first half of tour as plug-in site did not work.
Bus crowded so could not move to another seat. Commentary did not synchronize with where we were, no commentary as we passed Palace and other points of interest..
complained to driver and attendant at end of tour but no apology or note taken regards faulty equipment. This company is fraudulent in its practice and I will not use again

Ok, but confusing
Picked us up right at cruise port. There are 2 different HOHO bus companies, so had to be sure of right bus. It was a Sunday and stop #1 was not where it was supposed to be. We had walked to where we thought it should be but not there. We never did find it, so at last call, we found the other company bus and bought a ticket for it so we could get back to the cruise ship.

Dont bother
Don't bother...poor audio guides and drivers are rude and worthless. We planned to use it for two days and gave up and only used it for 6 hours. We have used hop on/hop off in other towns and enjoyed our experience. Oslo? Not a bit of fun.

That you planned to use us for two days and gave up after 6 hours says it all, we let you down. The audio should be clear and make the ride enjoyable, not the opposite, and our drivers should make you feel welcome, not that.
We know you’ve enjoyed hop on hop off in other cities, so it stings even more that Oslo wasn’t fun at all for you.
