Good guide, good route, just answer more questions.
This was a solid tour. The guide clearly knew the history and told it well, and he covered both the wartime story and what came after, which a lot of guides skip. The route was sensible, we saw essentially the whole ghetto area, stopped at some good murals, walked through the parks, and finished near the museum. Distance was reasonable, nothing felt padded.
The one thing that kept it from five stars: he wouldn't answer questions when they were asked. The response was always "we'll come back to that later," and then a lot of it never got answered. I asked whether the ghetto was destroyed because of the ghetto uprising or the later Warsaw Uprising, and never got a straight answer. If something genuinely is coming up at the next stop, say that and then actually return to it. Otherwise just answer it in thirty seconds and move on.
It got a little wordy near the end, but that's minor.
Worth doing. Ask your questions twice if you have to.

There was very little to...
There was very little to learn on this tour. The guide seemed nice and had a very wry sense of humor. Unfortunately there was little information. There are long walks between sites. If you walked next to him he would let you know about the area you were walking past. Since there was no microphone, and it was a large group, that was the only time to hear some facts. We actually learned more on a tour, half that time, about the jewish ghetto, and that tour was in the old town.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and presented the history in an interesting way. I’m glad I went with the tour because I doubt I would have been able to find any of the sites on my own.

Do this important and informative tour
This was an incredible tour, sobering but important and educational. Tomasz did an amazing job describing the Jewish life during and even after the War.

The Ghettoes of Warsaw tell a powerful story.
I think it was an advantage to have done the Walkative Tour of the Old City the day before and to have visited the Polin. Neither was a pre-requisite for this tour, but they helped my understanding of the situation of the Jewish people in Warsaw.
Michael was an excellent guide, with just the right balance of historical context and the impact upon the Jewish people, without being overly emotional on such a sensitive subject. He showed us the photographic evidence of pre and post WW2, which in itself was powerful. Modern Warsaw is literally built on top of the remains of the original city, which has advantages for future planners. But walking within the Ghetto reminded us of what lay beneath the modern constructions. For me one of the "highlights" was standing where the tram bridge had been, that I'd seen so many times in documentaries.

A must do
I was very happy to be with Michal again for this activity. The same passion, up tears, very knowledgeable and very pleasant. It's a must do to gauge the monstruous history, since there's not much left to see.

A Worthwhile Experience
Michal, with more than ten years of experience, is an exceptional guide. What becomes obvious is his depth of knowledge. Not just about the stops on the tour, but the history of Poland and how it all weaves together. When he spoke about the deportation of 200 children, you could feel his emotional response to the event. As if this was the first time he was delivering those words.
I highly recommend the tour and, of course, Michal.

Insightful Jewish Warsaw Walking Tour
We attended the tour on July 10, 2026, and despite the challenging weather conditions (a downpour at the beginning of the tour followed by several periods of drizzle), Michael delivered a thoroughly engaging and informative tour of Warsaw's Jewish heritage. We had the opportunity to look at a functioning synagogue, hear several stories about the Warsaw Ghetto, as well as some historical life stories (those of Mordechaj Anielewicz and Marek Edelman). Michael also used historical photographs and maps, which helped participants gain a better understanding of the city's history. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and wish you many more satisfied participants in the future!

Excellent tour of Jewish Warsaw.
Michael was an excellent guide and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Jewish Warsaw. He gave us a great deal of insight into a difficult part of our recent past and it was done with a great deal of respect.
