まずは、クエンカの西側の植民地時代の境界線、サン・セバスティアン界隈の魅力的なエリアから出発します。ここでは、絵のように美しい広場を散策し、植民地時代の建築を眺め、地元の展示品で近代美術館を探索します。
ボリバル通りを歩いて、フランスの影響を色濃く受けた共和政時代の移り変わりを辿り、優雅な建築に映える街を眺めましょう。また、10デ・アゴスト市場を訪れ、地元の果物、製品、伝統について学びながら、活気ある文化に浸りましょう。
象徴的なサンフランシスコ・プラザ、フラワーマーケット、歴史的なパルケ・カルデロンへと続きます。印象的な旧大聖堂と、見事な金箔の祭壇が自慢のラテンアメリカ最大級の教会である新大聖堂があります。

What a great way to spend the day! Wilson , our guide took us to facinating places including a place where they make the famous Panama hat ( it’s actually a Ecuador hat!) . We Saw Cuenca from high above and visited beautiful villages in the mountains then walked around Cuenca’s historic center and visited a few of Cuenca’s 52 churches. Wilson was an excellent guide and spoke perfect English. It felt like a freind showing us his city. He took us to a place that he knew about and had encebollado , a delicious Ecuador soup for lunch and he gave us a great recommendation for a dinner restaurant.
