この要塞はユネスコの保護下にあって、オスマンに対する防衛のために築かれたヴェネツィア国外の要塞の一つである。 アドリア海で最も美しい砦のひとつとして有名。 リュリェヴァツ島に建設され、やがて人々がそこへの道を切り開き、現在では要塞への陸路でのアクセスが可能となった。 建設当時の1540年にはダルマチアの半分の40,000ドゥカートもの費用がかかった。 要塞の建設者はヴェネツィアの名門サンミケーリ家である。
シベニクはクロアチアの歴史的都市の一つとして、11世紀半ばにペタル王クレシミル4世の文書に初めて言及されている。 眺めは、その4つの要塞によって支配されています：セントニコラス、セントマイケル、セントジョンとバローネ。 市内には24の教会と6つの修道院がある神聖なモニュメントのうち、遠くから見ると、ヨーロッパの聖仙文化のユニークなモニュメントであるセント・ジェームズ大聖堂が目を引く。 大聖堂は、他の材料を使用せずにすべて石造で建設され、ユネスコ世界遺産の管理下に置かれているユライ・ダルマティナツとニコラ・フィレンティナツの作品です。
ギャバンズ・コートはプロクリヤン湖畔の地名で、地元の人によると、城壁の歴史的遺構のほか、大理石、装飾された石、ローマレンガ、鉛管、宝石の破片が見つかったという。 伝説によると、高慢な金持ちの女性「ガヴァヌシャ」が、乞食に変装した天使を3回も無礼に追い払い、天使が宮廷になだれ込むと、プロクリヤン湖ができた。 * （ギャバン＝金持ち、傲慢、高慢な男）
クルカ河口に沿って進み、プロクリヤン湖を渡り、壮大なスクラディンスキ・ブクの滝のふもとへと続く峡谷を抜けていきます。 クルカ国立公園への到着は11時30分頃を予定しています。 ここでは、透き通った水、緑豊かな自然、壮大なトラバーチンの滝など、自由時間を使って景色を探索します。 有名なスクラディンスキ・ブクの観光、歴史あるジャルガ水力発電所見学、魅力的な民族誌博物館に変身した伝統的な水車の探索、地元のレストラン、本格的なお土産の閲覧など。 クルカ国立公園はクルカ川の最も美しい伸びとチコラ川の下流域を保護している。 その多くの見どころの1つは、川の中心部に佇むヴィソヴァツ島の平和なフランシスコ会修道院です。 クルカには、広範囲に広がるロシュキ・スラップや象徴的なスクラディンスキ・ブクを含む7つの見事な滝があり、自然、歴史、ダルマチアの伝統に浸った忘れられない体験ができます。

We enjoyed the sail and the guide on the boat.The upstairs seats could do with cushions as too hard when sitting so long. Disappointed as only saw the main waterfall as the other one was too far away as you had to walk to a boat then it was a 4 hour trip and we had no time for this.We did no realise this when we booked.We walked up loads of stairs in the heat which didn't really go anywhere worthwhile. There are plenty of places to eat and drink but the toilet is €2. We think there must be better ways to get to the falls and see them all. No fault of the ship and crew as they were charming.

On 7/28 with the Desto. A perfect excursion. The ship, built in 1900, has a great charm. The crew was very friendly and especially Goran spoke (in very good German) and joked with the guests. Everything seemed authentic. The mussels prepared on board were delicious. A beautiful trip on the Krka. There was sufficient time for the walk by the waterfall. Despite the many (other) tourists at and around the waterfall, we felt no stress. Thanks to the entire crew.
Excellent service from an amazing, friendly team! From check-in to dropping anchor, everyone was helpful and smiling. The bay views were incredibly scenic, and the team was very informative about all the local highlights. The intro to the Krka Waterfall experience was super helpful, and the mussel tasting was excellent. They make you feel right at home! Special shout out to Meile, Vandesa, and the captin.

The boat trip and ship crew were great and very polite. Pleasantly relaxed atmosphere on the ship. The national park was pretty crowded.
The park is very, very beautiful! There are plenty of vantage points for beautiful photos. Don't forget the small waterfalls, with crystal clear water. You can see all the fish and species of aquatic plants very nicely. The route by boat was also very nice, fresh mussels picked up and then had a nice meal. It was very busy and touristy. You walk in a long line over the wooden decking. The food and drinks have high prices. So bring your own.
Good speed and explanation, beautiful park with all the freedom to do your thing. Tasty mussels on the way out and popcorn on the way back. Waterfalls are really very beautiful.
Instructions for meeting the boat were clear and concise. We were greeted by friendly, helpful, and good humoured crew. Departure was bang on time. The boat was very well kept and maintained. Prices at the bar on board were more than reasonable and we were fed the freshest mussels you could ask for - delivered direct to the boat from the mussel farm as we were en-route. All in a very professional and well organised outfit. In terms of the trip itself, Krka waterfalls is amongst the most beautiful parts of this planet I have ever seen. €70 is an absolute steal for this trip.
