This was such a great experience! Our tour guide Humberto was knowledgeable, friendly and very down to earth! Our group was smaller and immediately warmed up to one another! Couldn't have asked for a better day! Im not much of a drinker, the tequila tasting was fun, I would have loved to have eaten something else authentic for sure !
It was good other than a rough start, it said to arrive at 10 however your guid was not there till 10:45 and not on the us side it took 45 min to get a response saying he’s on mexican side. Entire group was lost. Disorganized bad communication.
Humberto made us feel comfortable and was great company. We had a group of vegetarians and he ensured the lunch was appropriate to accommodate us. The city itself can be done in a few hours so no need to stay there more than a few hours. Be prepared nothing has any AC and crossing can take 1.5 hours on foot in the heat. However the USA side customs house is air conditioned. Just be prepared you’re not going to cancun and set your expectations but at no time we feel unsafe. Personally, I found nothing of interest there but it’s a good day trip to see the other side. But we’re very experienced travellers so maybe the reason for the underwhel. The tour guide was great.
Humberto was phenomenal! He made us feel so part of Mexico & gave us amazing real Mexican history & local experience. His knowledge was incredible!!!

Carlos was amazing. We had one couple on our tour who felt more comfortable with Spanish, so Carlos led the tour with both Spanish and English. It was very thoughtful, he did a great job.
Good tour for those who want an introduction to the rich culture, history and food scene of Tijuana.
