We were able to experience the "best guide to the Melaten Cemetery" under optimal conditions. Beate gave a wonderful tour in a respectful and Cologne-style manner. A great experience and a reason to do it again and again. There are still sooo many stories and graves to get to know.
Super tour by Thomas with an incredible amount of knowledge. We will do it again!
Tour guide Markus leads the way through Melaten for two hours with a lot of knowledge, charm, Cologne cheerfulness, and wit. It gave me great pleasure. Many thanks and a clear recommendation!
What wonderful and impious guidance! Markus is a gift for anyone who wants to visit the Melaten Cemetery guided. Thank you!!
The tour of the rather unknown part of Melaten Cemetery was very informative and competent and sympathetic brought across by Markus. I can only recommend the tour.
Absolutely recommended....exciting stories and backgrounds of the burial sites and Cologne original rocks...
I took part in a guided tour of the Melaten Cemetery. I liked it very much, was very informative and entertaining. Certainly not my last tour of this cemetery. The leader Miriam did very well.
Although it rained in torrents, our guide made every effort and showed all the destinations he planned and also explained them very well! He has a very good, in-depth knowledge and made the tour of the Melatenfriedhof very nice! We found it very disturbing that he asked us to tip him afterwards... we already had that in our hands anyway and of course gave it to him but we found the request unnecessary! I can judge this, as I am myself in Cologne as a guide!
Our guide Marcus has guided us excellently over melates. Marcus put his knowledge across great. We would always book a tour with him.
We had a carnival tour on melates on 19.01.25. Markus has made the tour incredibly entertaining with his interesting stories and anecdotes. This was certainly not my last tour with him.
