We arrived at the marina and exchanged our vouchers for the boarding passes. We were 10mins late setting off, the staff were friendly & helpful. 1. I really feel that if this trip is going to accommodate everyone then there needs to be a change of boat- having some shade is really important especially with how hot it was yesterday. 2. It would be a good idea to have some mention of the fact you get absolutely drenched on this trip. This would help people to prepare on what to wear. If we had known we would have planned better as we were going for cocktails, then a meal straight after so we ended up wet through for these. 3. The jackets you provide need to be in a variety of sizes as my uncles wouldn't fit as it was too small. Also I was still wet through after taking it off so may need to invest in proper quality jackets. The marine biologist was great and very informative, we saw dolphins which was amazing. The length of the trip was great, the stops were perfect. Would recommend to anyone but just prepare to be absolutely wet through from the start.

Excellent tour. Very well organised. Staff are professional and informative but most important the dolphins were on point! They came and said hello and gave a lovely show. Went to Benagil cave and saw the pretty sand beach. Yes most of the time is travelling but to see both there is no quick option. It’s great tour to do from Lagos area.

Trip was great and we were lucky to see dolphins. Onne of our party had a foldable mobility scooter which sh was allowed to take on the boat. Crew exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions.

A very professionally held tour. Seeing the dolphins was amazing and the Benagil Caves are very beautiful. Tour guides spoke English extremely well and were very informative. Felt very comfortable and entertained. Definitely recommend it.

This is the cave tour you want! I can’t believe how many dolphins we saw! It had to be 30 or 40 of them jumping out of the water and they were so close to the boat. Really outstanding! The caves themselves are pretty standard to be honest, so I would be sure to get yourself a cave tour that has something other than just the caves. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we had an exceptionally clean and well operated boat.

Lovely tour and experienced marine biologist who answered many questions! We got to see dolphins. No swim stop on this tour. And the caves are spectacular!

The experience in the Lakes: Dolphins & Benagil Caves – Catamaran was simply incredible! The match took place at the Lagos marina, with a counter/shop where we picked up the tickets without complications. The trip started exactly at the agreed time. The catamaran is different from the more "classic" one: it is a motor model, narrower, and has a feeling of greater speed. After about 45 minutes, we found a huge group of common dolphins, which stayed close to the boat, it was fantastic and very fun. During the tour, the biologist explained everything with great clarity, in Portuguese and English. There were some splatters (tolerable), and they provide waterproofs. We made two stops near the caves, although, due to the size of the boat, it was only possible to see/enter up to the entrance area. Still, it's totally worth it! I recommend the experience, including for families, the children loved it.

You could do without the dolphins, although we were lucky and saw 3 animals from a distance. We went quite far out into the ocean; after we were already totally soaked, they gave us waterproof jackets. Too bad that it was so late!!! The caves were very beautiful and definitely worth seeing, as were the various beaches, many of which are only accessible from the water.

It’s like we paid to get sprayed. We had to sit with a towel the entire time and cover our heads , could not look out . It was just windy and getting splashed. We did see a few dolphins, 2 mins and then moved ahead. The trip to the caves was just a disappointment, you go into 2 caves , barely , the boat is too big , just some commentary / information regarding the caves and then we drove off in 5 mins. Absolute waste of money. Fake advertising, wrt the caves.

Lovely trip host was good fun and very knowledgeable, we were lucky and saw the dolphins relatively close up in their natural environment, which is not always guaranteed, caves and coastline was stunning, great way to spend a few hours, may be worth taking a top as it can get a bit chilly out on the boat depending on the weather.
