Traveling around the pyramids of Cairo is essential, but it was easy to do on tour because you don't have to arrange a taxi. We had a guide explain outside the pyramid and went inside on our own. It was extremely hot, but we were grateful for the water and juice. He suggested an Egyptian restaurant for $10 or $15 for lunch, so I decided to make it $10. I'm glad it's a buffet style restaurant with a lot of foreigners and a feeling of cleanliness. Souvenir shops took me to perfume and cotton goods shops. It doesn't matter if you buy it or not. Japanese language guides are able to have the necessary conversations without delay, they are not fluent enough to talk to Japanese people.

When I requested a refund later, the operator dismissed my claim, stating that "seeing them from a distance from the panorama area counts as sightseeing". This is a completely unacceptable excuse for not visiting the sites as promised. ​Overcharged for lunch: At "9 Pyramids Lounge," I was asked to pay $55 cash for lunch and drinks ($50+$5). This is way above the market price. The guide took the receipt away, so I couldn't keep it. ​The guide and driver seemed "kind," but the actual service was dishonest and far from the description. I do not recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers.

I asked for a full-day tour of Cairo, and the first thing I did in the morning was to go to Dashor (Red Pyramid and Refractive Pyramid), which was very good. With few tourists still coming, I had almost the whole pyramid to myself. It may be a classic course, but I think it was a very well arranged tour.
