Good communication prior to meeting as they changed the start time. Found my name at meeting point easily. Their office was a bit chaotic and the staff a little brusque but that may be a cultural difference. There were 18 of us on the trip which was a good number- wouldn’t want any more than that. Guide spoke lots about the geography but not much about the history of the area. The area where The bus dropped us for the lake was very scruffy- we were a bit worried- but when we got on the boat ( an adventure in itself) it was beautiful and peaceful. Saw many birds and the setting is lovely. The guide then brought out local food and drinks for us all which were great. The Stari Bar portion was next - a free hour to wander or go to a restaurant. Certainly didn’t need longer than that. Overall a good trip.

This tour was disappointing. We were first taken to Skadar Lake which was underwhelming compared to pictures and expectations. It was a motorized small boat with a cover from the sun but it was extremely hot and the water was gross. The engine on the boat gave out several times and we though we might be stuck on the lake but it recovered. We didn't see many birds/wildlife - our entertainment was a Russian woman in the group that drank too much of the wine they served and took selfies as if she was a model and danced on the seats. Our guide also over-indulged in the wine and bought beers at 2 of our stops. The guide took us places to shop (which didn't interest me) gave us some navigation advice at each place but basically left us on our own to explore (which I didn't like). I would not recommend this tour to others - there are probably more interesting things to see in Bar, Montenegro. Wish our ship took us to Kotor instead.

Lake Skadar was beautiful. The riverboat will give you old school vibes with its wooden base and bamboo roof. The guide was a little difficult to understand with her heavy accent, but after a while I could understand better. In the Old Town we only had 1 hour which is not enough to really experience the surroundings. I would suggest if you want to see both adequately then you should do the lake first then taxi to the Old Town. We had plenty of time allotted by our cruise that we could have easily done that
