This was the best food tour I have been on and I do them in every country I go to. Jergen was informative and knew so much history about Norway and Bergen specifically. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time touring Bergen with Dane. He is so knowledgeable and personable. We learned so much more about Bergen than would ever have been possible without him. The focus on crime, mythology, and witches gave the tour a fun twist. VIsits to charming neighbors and reccomendations for affordable, non- touristy shops and restaurants led us to authentic experiences we really enjoyed.

The food was delicious and it was fun to sample dishes I might not have otherwise tried. Even better was everything we learned about Bergen and Norwegian history/culture thanks to our amazing and extremely knowledgeable guide Rigmor. My husband and I had been in Bergen for a few days before taking the tour, but it was only after that we really felt like we knew the city. Thanks to Rigmor!

This was much more than a food tour. Jorgen was an excellent guide. We sampled lots of fish including whale, dried cod, brown cheese cake, various ciders and finished with a mountain top meal that included goat chorizo and halibut. The conversation was varied and Jorgen gave us plenty of local history along the way. He also gave recommendations on restaurants, sites and other things to do in Norway. Overall a very enjoyable few hours and I'd highly recommend 👌

A great food tour in Bergen! We tasted plenty of traditional foods, and some with a nice modern twist, and all delicious. Our tour guide, Rigmor, was outstanding! She had plenty of knowledge on the food, the history of the city, and was very friendly and a pleasure to be with during the tour. Huge thanks to her for making sure we all had a wonderful time! We were the first to bring kids under 5 on the Food tour. The restaurants and guide were very accommodating with portions and including the children in the tour, even answering their silly questions. The tour group sizes are quite small and our guide, Rigmor, did a wonderful job of including everyone equally in the conversation. Rigmor was very knowledgeable and personable. The tour has a nice balance of food, history, and views. If your kids are adventurous eaters, definitely would recommend this tour for the whole family.
