まずはフライダグマルクトで短い紹介の後、ヘント市内を1時間半から2時間の探索の旅に出発します。 途中、街の名前の由来を解き明かし、1400年近くの歴史を持つヘントの発祥の地を探索します。 このツアーでは、中世の3つの塔（聖バヴォ大聖堂、ヘント鐘楼、聖ニコラス教会）や、絵のように美しいグラスレイとコーレンレイの岸壁など、象徴的なランドマークを通り過ぎます。 中世後期、この港地域は貿易の心臓部であり、ヘントを北欧で最も繁栄した都市に成長させた。 それでもヘントは中世の華麗さをはるかに超えています。 市内には3つの静かなベギンジュ、卓越した博物館、緑の公園があります。 1913年の万国博覧会を誇らしげに開催し、有名なグラフィティ・ストリートをはるかに超えて、ストリートアートの都として国際的に知られています。 今日、ヘントは活気に満ちた生活都市であり、訪問者、住民、学生が一堂に会している。

Sophie's credibility is in question. She got things backwards or wrong such as months with "r" being bad for muscles when in fact they are the best months to eat them. She also said wall anchors were to designate floors added on to a building but they are actually support for masonry walls. Overall good tour with out of way locations so a fair amount of walking. She was great to ask questions and very pleasant.

Very beautiful city, everything is beautiful, architecture, small streets, churches , small canals, citadel park! we walk really well. You've got plenty of eyes on every corner!
