In a nutshell, this is the ONLY tour you should book for the Tower of London. James Hart is an THE expert and he is incredibly knowledgeable as well as entertaining. I wouldn’t have appreciated nearly enough history or small details without his expertise. The entire Tower area was bigger than I expected is, so having James kept us from become overwhelmed by navigating. We truly got to enjoy and appreciate every aspect of the tour without headache Not to mention he is also a mini celebrity amongst the Beefeaters! Look no further, just book this tour.

London is a large city...
London is a large city and there is a lot to take in. Try to narrow down what you want to see. The guide will cater to what you want to see.

Crown Jewels and knowledge

Horrible - tour guide never showed
The tour guide never showed today and I have no way of getting in touch with anyone about it. Trying to salvage the day and trying to hunt down a way to get it touch is really a terrible way to conduct customer service.

I was not notified of this booking until after the tour had begun so I was unaware that the client had made the reservation. Had the client been at the meeting point at the start time at 2pm I would have seen her.
I have refunded the client in full and would be grateful if she would remove this unnecessarily unpleasant review.
In addition I should add this it is extremely easy to make contact via the booking system, which she obviously did not attempt to do.

Tower of London review
The guide was very knowledgeable about the Tower of London. He knew a lot of the Beefeater’s. He gave us lots of information and knew the best way around the Tower. He was definitely worth doing the tour. We enjoyed it!

Highest Recommendation for Tower of London tour
We had the best morning with James! He clearly loves what he does, he relishes the joy of telling others about the fascinating history of the Tower of London. He knows everyone, and walking with him was like touring with a local celebrity. I can't imagine a more enthralling and engaging storyteller!
