The tour guide made a 13 hour tour/trip the most enjoyable experience possible! She supplied cold water, snacks, umbrellas, cooling towels, WIFI, and a wealth of knowledge about Arizona!
I was in Phoenix for a conference and wanted to see the Antelope Canyon but did not want to make that drive. I decided to book with Elegant Travel and I cannot express how glad I am that I did. Naala was nothing short of amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure we were all comfortable. Had phone chargers waiting for us, kept the bus cold, had ice cold water and towels ready since it was blistering hot and provided umbrellas to protect us from the sun. I was a female solo traveler and I felt so at ease with Naala. The van was uber clean and spacious. Had charging ports for all its occupants and it was 10x better than I expected. Naala also has great taste in music! Thank you Naala!
Naala was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was engaged with everyone on the van, the entire 4 hour drive from Phoenix to Page. She shared interesting facts, answered our questions, and made sure we were comfortable. I was on a solo trip and enjoyed everything about the tour to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend. It was extremely hot and Naala provided cold water, umbrellas, and towels to help with the heat. Naala went above and beyond. I highly recommend AZ Elegent travel for all of your Arizona tour needs!
I will premise this review by mentioning how amazing Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend are. Although the lower Antelope Canyon was closed due to rain the night before, our guide was able to secure a reservation for us to visit the upper canyon, lead by an amazing Navajo guide. The tour was supposed to include a scenic ride on Route 66 as well as a “delicious lunch at a local spot”. Neither of these things happened - unless a Subway sandwich from a grab and go is considered delicious and local. Our driver spoke a lot for the first couple of hours, providing some interesting info and some not relevant at all. There was no water provided for the first part of the ride until we reached the grab and go in Flagstaff where they could get ice. I must mention that we felt unsafe during much of the drive due to the driver constantly fidgeting with vehicle controls such as the radio and the air conditioner as well as her cell phone - even while we drove through torrential rain and windy conditions on the return drive. Unfortunately, this added a negative element to the amazing canyon experience.
Dear Lydia, Due to the flooding in the lower canyon the night before, we were not notified until the morning of the tour that all of the lower canyon tours were canceled. Because I have experience with the flooding and cancelations, I knew that that the upper canyon is almost never closed even after flooding. So, I was able to secure tickets at the upper canyon for everyone. I explained to the group that this meant we would not have time for a sit down lunch like we normally do and we would make up for that by getting a delicious Navajo meal afterwards at the Cameron Trading Post Restaurant on the Navajo Nation where we did go afterwards. I got the Upper Antelope Canyon tickets during the best lighting of the day and this meant a quick grab and go lunch and a delicious meal for dinner afterwards. The flooding changed the schedule with not having a sit down lunch. Waters and snacks were available from the beginning and I offered them to everyone at the beginning while also offering free WiFi in the 2026 vehicle and phone cords for all phones to use. I grabbed ice at the first stop to make sure the waters would still be cold for everyone when we arrived at Antelope Canyon and I explained this before we left Phoenix. If I put the waters on ice before we leave Phoenix, then the ice is all melted by the time we get to Antelope Canyon and there would be no cold waters. We did drive through the historic Route 66 but unfortunately the unforecasted torrential rain on the way back made It very hard to see much of anything. I was using a hands free screen in the brand new 2026 vehicle to keep an eye on any flooding on our route due to the unexpected heavy rain. I did not want to put anyone’s life in danger. And the extreme temperature difference from 105 degrees at Antelope Canyon to 55 degrees in Flagstaff required a change in the temperature controls so that everyone would be comfortable. I am sorry that the flooding occurred and you did not get to see the Lower Antelope Canyon, or Route 66, or have our usual delicious meal before the Antelope Canyon tour and had to wait until after the tour at the Cameron Trading Post Restaurant after the tour. I can’t control the weather and wanted to make sure all of you were able to see Antelope Canyon even if it was the Upper Canyon since it was sunny that day at Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, and people make plans coming from all over the world. And I wanted to make sure everyone got back safely keeping an eye out for any flooding or road closures on the way back. I have refunded your tour due to the unexpected force majeure weather. I drove extremely slowly and safely through the torrential rain on the way back and used the hands free controls only to monitor the weather and keep everyone comfortable with the 50 degree change in temperature. Nalla with Elegant Travel LLC was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about Arizona. I would book with her again! The experience inside of Antelope Canyon through Dixie’s lower antelope canyon tours was not as good as I expected. It was very BEAUTIFUL but rushed. My group didn’t get a lot of time to take pictures and the guide was not helpful in getting pictures as we were told they would be. When we often stopped for shots, we were told to keep moving because there was another group behind us and they didn’t want to cause a traffic jam. Honestly, I traveled 4 hrs and wanted more out of the experience. 6/10 Horseshoe Bend was self guided and a beautiful site to see-worth the trip! 10/10
Wonderful experience! A chance to get great pictures! Naala was very knowledgeable and a great host. She brings water, snacks, umbrellas, cooling cloths, etc- She comes prepared for you! It was very hot coming in July but that didn’t take away from anything! Would do it all over again!!
Met amazing people that were also solo traveling. Tour guide was amazing. Everything was legit and safe. Worth the money as well!
Naala was absolutely amazing! She was very punctual, professional, and incredibly detail oriented from start to finish. She made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. She even took us to Bird House, and the food was absolutely amazing! What really stood out was how prepared she was. She had chargers, snacks, bottled water, and even cooling towels for everyone. It’s the little things like that that make a huge difference and show how much she truly cares about her guests. If you’re thinking about booking this experience, don’t hesitate you’ll be in great hands with Naala. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has an unforgettable time. 100/10, highly recommend!
Naala was an amazing guide! She was knowledgeable and provided us with every comfort we could think of. I would recommend that you use this company especially if you are traveling during the summer. Our guide provided us with tips and tricks to stay cool and safe while touring. Plenty of water and snacks!
